"Other touch-screen Zune players" referenced in Zune HD manuals

So were poring through the Zune HD's various manuals and documentation, like you do, and we noticed this little line in the A/V dock's quick start guide: An HDMI cable (included) and a high-definition TV are required for high-definition viewing. Zune HD and other touch-screen Zune players also work with the composite A/V cable (included). Now, that's pretty interesting, since, you know, there aren't any other touchscreen Zunes out there. We'd say that's either solid evidence the boys in Redmond are planning to give the Zune HD the family it's always wanted -- or it's just a huge mistake. Only your doctor knows for sure.

whoever wrote this article is a dumbass....by 'other touchscreen' they mean the same model, just...other of the zune hds....its like me saying 'this case can only be used on this nokia e90, and other nokia e90 devices'. Get it? Not that hard...

That's not it at all. Saying "This Nokia e90 and other Nokia e90s" is nothing like saying "This Zune HD and other touchscreen Zune players." The comparison would be "This Nokia e90 and other Nokia phones." Unless they're just trying to be unclear, they would've said "This Zune HD and other Zune HD devices."

Anybody have clear shots of Ipod Touch vs. Zune HD Video Quality? Post the two side by side so we can. I guess the same still frame the better.

Why are there so many comments about this? It's pretty clear what they mean... If the Zune HD is a success, and so far it's off to a good start, they will likely offer another version. This may also refer to Windows Mobile 7 phones with Zune software.

Oh man I hope that means that they are going to come out with a ZUNE phone. I know they have Windows mobile but I had a Windows mobile device and it sucked that is why I am using an Android device now. I really hope they make a ZUNE phone. That would be sweet.

that would be amazing. i would switch cell phone services and if you need the everything plan to even HAVE the thing, i'd do it. the software for the zune HD is AMAZING. and to have that software in a phone? AWESOME.
