This just in:
Microsoft makes a hostile bid for Fisher Price, immediately announces the xbox for toddlers line of products.
If only it weren't so ugly! The concept is great, as is the screen sliding out of the controller, but the vomit colored yellow/green buttons just don't work for me, and the shape needs refinement.
if zune and xbox were to merge then the ipod touch gamers might migrate
that thing is really ugly though
Mines better...

that contraption looks like something from fisher price.
Really? I mean... really? It's a great idea... but someone seriously needs to make it NOT look like a kids toy....
It will be so 'Hot' that one would need gloves to handle it ;)
that's the ugliest thing i've ever seen
it says leapfrog all over it
You call this beautiful? Who made this? Fisher Price?
Where's the Ring?
This thing is entirely unfeasable, as the battery needs to be in there, along with all the inner components. (This includes the processor, video processor, etc.) Though a nice design, if the LCD slides up like that, then the LCD is taking a lot of room where the internal components should be. As such, there will have to be a trade-off, either in terms of processing power, or in terms of battery life, or both. As such a lot of companies that make these type of devices don't use sliding LCDs like that. Personally, I hope Microsoft doesn't hire this guy, as he comes up with the worst design possible, even if the concept is "cool."
beautiful? no
such wasted space, the lcd should be on the outside
The left analogue stick is in the wrong place.
It's a neat concept, but there are a few fundamental problems. One of which is that a portable handheld isn't likely going to be able to render games at 1080p, not if it has graphics beter than the psp anyways. Another problem is that it looks even more uncomfortable than the psp/ds, partially because the analog sticks are in a playstation configuration rather than set up like the xbox.
And almost most importantly, it's handheld, yes, but not very portable. You'd have to be Hagrid to fig this in your pockets.
Oh god thats horrible..... I mean the stick placement, what is this 99?
like the idea of a sliding lcd, that a good idea.
However if you could put a 360 in there, aswell as a retractable lvd taking up space then forget the rings of death, it would burn your hands off.
Even star trek wouldnt use it as a prop its so far fetched.
This is the dumbest. Ugliest thing I've ever seen. You'd play PSP less? smh... what are you 12? I'm just going to assume that you are using sarcasm.
This wouldn't fly as a consumer device- it looks like a DS fat swallowed a 360 controller and then they added a bulky PSP-1000 for good measure.
Is this thing made by Fischer-Price or Microsoft? My first handheld!!
YES!!!!! Make it a phone and I could wear it around my neck on a chain, using A2DP bluetooth headphones!!!
Oh, wait... I would actually never do that. Because while it is a fun idea, well-executed (although 360 zealots would never accept that joystick/d-pad reversal), it's still not particularly portable-looking, and it looks Fisher-Price.
Looks like a baby's toy.
That looks like my daughter's leapfrog.
IT'S THE RETURN OF THE DUKE!!! AHHH!!!
I hope that's just a prototype, cuz it looks horrible.
I hope that would last longer and not have to be repaired as much as the 360 does.
