Holy shit! That's smoooooooth!
Anybody else notice its running at 84% memory usage while only running Album? It must be headed for Verizon!
i think its battery not memory
the one thing that ruins everything - 64K colors.
WHY HTC WHYYYY!
Because Microsoft says so.
Not even CLOSE to a big deal for me..
God, the only way tech nerds would ever FULLY love a product is if it had a vag....
...no offense ladies...
One thing at a time Evan.
I think it's more important for HTC to dump that damned 528MHz Qualcomm processor than improve the screen color palette, at this time. Once Tegra and Snapdragon take off, next is that ;).
WM6.5 fixes the 64K colour limitation... Remember though, the picture might be 24bit but there are not many 'small screens' that can display a full 24bit.
are you sure? coz I heard 6.5 is still stuck at 65K colors and we'll have to wait for 7
Windows Mobile is back in the game. My new phone!!!
3 years late and still counting with multi-touch functionality. As far as market and handset
makers are concerned, Windows Mobile has become a dinosaurs of the past. Sorry for
the drastic comments but that's just fact.
It does this on my touchpro2 also. Album must be a very important app! :)
This is currently as good as it gets.
Now just bring it to market HTC, and you'll become the proud owner of the world's greatest phone manufacturer title.
If you go on like that about a device thats not even officially confirmed, you are no different than an apple fanboi and his/her iTablet fantasy.Lets wait asnd see how this turns out to be.
Dude,
We already know all of the specs, and many of us in the WM community have already handled WM 6.5 as well as the newer TF3D builds, and we have seen a few videos of the Snapdragon flexing its muscles before, and we have seen the capacitive display of the Leo in action with multi-touch now too.
It's not that difficult to put together the pieces of this puzzle and get the big picture.
He's right you know. Snapdragon + 4.3" screen. What the hell the iPhone or any other phone in the market, except maybe for the Toshiba TG01, has against that?
This might be the perfect phone. And with a 4.3" screen... it will be a phone/mid/netbook/gaming device...
its not about the screen size dude.a real gaming device needs physical buttons or else its a waste of screen space and clumsy controls like in the iPhone/iPod
multitouch and a app store and winmo is set..
Microsoft Surface has had multitouch for a number of years prior to Apple putting on it the iPhone. It is a Microsoft first that Apple stole and successfully commercialized before Microsoft got it on the market for less than ten thousand dollars. But it came out of Microsoft Research Labs. Of Course what has Apple ever invented? They stole the graphical interface from Xerox Parc.
basically. If Microsoft were to release surface out in 2005, iPhone would be history. They should count their blessings....
Well, they can't anymore thanks to Zune HD xD!
LOL..... every apple fanboi comment here is downranked and its response is highest ranked. For a group which likes flaunting stupid marketshare statistics, I guess its serves them right to be at the wrong end of 95% MS using(but not worshipping ) market.
It's the other way around at the AppleInsider Blog. I posted there if they were gonna help improve the bugs in 3.1 soon, and i got voted to 1 star and called "impatient n00Bb" (they couldn't even spell that right). Good God for only asking a question...
You fail at trying to prove one of the most backwards facts in blog history...
Hey now calm down, he wasn't saying the Apple are deliberately being down-ranked. Almost looks like you're gonna blow up into a million pieces..
lozenges, there's an App for that.
I din quite understand your reply.I just made an observation that the apple fanbois here are being put in their place by the windows using bloggers and its a new phenomenon at least here. And i feel its a good thing as i'm against fanboyism and i proudly use a Windows 7 based PC and a laptop,iPhone,iPod and a PSP.
I take back that last sentence...I'm just in a bad mood. Will you hold me? =
There, three buddy! Everybody here keeps talking about Android, WinMo and iPhone and Maemo gets left out in the cold. It must take a toll on you.
I will not hold you at all..........i'm not a man hug kinda guy:)
and I understand that the damned Engadget comment system putting your comment in the wrong place, hereby inviting rebuttal from others might not help you in that matter ;).
@N900
Anyway,im sure u'll feel a lot better when you get that insane N900 in your hands;)
I'm crushing your head!
oh so cool, i didn't even think of that!
I was impressed when they zoomed in the video. Now that is cool.
This HTC Leo looks pretty good for what I need: A phone/PDA/ and a really nice video player.
Although the Archos phone recently spied looks good too, it has Android which does nothing for me. I'm used to WM6.1 and I've never had any major issues (except for ieMobile ughh). Looks like, for me, my next phone will either be the Leo or the Archos phone.
Any ideas of USA timetable (if at all?)
Totally in the market for one of these. Wonder when it's being released, Sept or Oct?
ATT is pissing me off. The Leo, a.k.a. Touch Pro 3, is getting leaked, and ATT hasn't even released the Touch Pro 2 yet.
Yeah, ditto that. At this rate AT&T may as well skip the TP-2 and go ahead and get the Leo!
Like, NOW!
The only reason I got rid of Windows Mobile is because it was slow (rather the hardware kinda blew). These devices are bringing, what I hope, to be an end to those woes. I love my iPhone, I love my Pre... but I miss that "computer in my pocket" feeling I used to get with Windows mobile. You know... placing a call, sending a few text messages... and ... pulling down MIDIs from vgmusic.com, cropping them, setting them as ringtones, renaming them and sending them off to other nerds.
Yeah.
Please come to Verizon!
I know some people will think the screen is too big but for me the bigger the better (as long as its thin!! Just don't know if wether to wait for WM7 before ditching the iphone and going back to WM.. unless apple do something really smart again... which they wont because they can get away with it (3GS) as apple fans seem to "doublethink".
Seriously bored with the iphone trolls pitching in mindless slander whenever windows mobile is mentioned.... how many supermarkets use iphones to monitor stock levels.. or waiters to take orders in a restaurant... none because there is NOT an app for that... Some people like WM no need to be a d*ck about it.. WAKE UP think for yourself.
