Sleek Audio Announces Another Product First with the CT6 Aura Wireless Compatible Earphones
Custom earphones that emit light through phosphorescent particles imbedded in the shell and top plate
Palmetto, Fl. September 16, 2009 – Sleek Audio, developer of the SA6 acoustically customizable earphone and recipient of Popular Science's "Best of What's New" award in 2008 has announced the newest option for their acclaimed custom earphones with the CT6 Aura.
The CT6 Aura utilizes the same audio technology as the CT6, but adds a new design feature that makes the custom earphones that much more unique. Using phosphorescent technology, the CT6 Aura earphones emit a powerful glow in a range of colors for those who don't mind onlookers starring curiously at their ears during overnight flights.
"The CT6 Aura came about when a DJ asked us if we could make him earphones that glowed while he was working, we told him we'd look into it, and after some time playing around with different options we've developed some really cool new designs," said Mark Krywko, CEO of Sleek Audio. "We worked hard to perfect the audio performance of the CT6 earphones, and now we're just having fun with the countless customization options we can offer our customers. The CT6 Aura, like its SA6 in-ear earphone counterpart, can go from wired to wireless and back again thanks to its removable, swivel cables. Using KLEER™ wireless technology, the CT6 Aura's offer unprecedented sound quality from a wired and wireless platform. It also offers ESC (Environmental Sound Control) eliminating up to 32dB of external noise.
"So far DJ's have been showing the most interest in the CT6 Auara's as they look pretty cool glowing in their ears in dark clubs and shows," added Krywko.
Currently the CT6 Aura is available in the following color options: green, blue, purple, orange, white and yellow.

I'd be afraid of anything with the word "phosphor" in it. Especially if it involved putting it near my head.
At least in my country, Coca-Cola contains phosphoric acid. I've heard some people actually drink that stuff.

Sorry, guess that was too esoteric a reference.
But being that the iPhone is still MMS-less, on more than one occasion I've had friends who've sought me out to help them with their iPhones and try to hack it to get "MSM" working.
They read somewhere on the intartubez apparently that iPhone "MSM" was coming...but the technical details remained a mystery to them.
Guess I'll point some of them to this product...
The MSM are just the initials for the person who bought those particular customs, I would imagine, seeing as you can get custom graphics on these
These look great but pricey, I'm more for the sound quality then the style though. I'm on the search for new bt ear buds, but I can't make up my mind. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe they will tell people, "If you buy it, it will unlock MMS and Tethering to iPhone".... someone will fall for it.
I actually own the CT6s and the wireless. I dont have the glow ones but theyre really nice. im sure they sound the same as the ones i have which sound better then anything ive ever owned. its a lot cheaper then the other ones i was looking at too.

I am the DJ who brought the idea to the table. I couldn't be happier with sleek. They were super helpful the entire way. These are very very reasonable when compared to what I would spend on a pair of technics or sonys over the ear headphones. I have found myself using these earphones outside of djing too. I bought the wireless pack and the quality of the sound rivals the clubs sound system.
