The Engadget Show - 001: Jon Rubinstein, Bit Shifter, iPod event, Moto CLIQ, N900

Well it's finally, really happened. The very first Engadget Show is done and ready for your viewing pleasure. First up, Josh sits down with Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein for an in-depth discussion, then Nilay and Paul join the fray for a dissection of recent news -- including the recent Apple iPod event, the Motorola CLIQ, and a hands-on look at an early version of the as-yet-unreleased Nokia N900!
We're still getting our T's crossed and I's dotted for the Zune and iTunes subscriptions, but you can download the full HD video below -- or just sit back and watch the streaming file up above.

How often will The Engadget Show take place?
Under the header 'better late than never' I just wanted to say that that 'music' was goddamn awful and you must be partly deaf to even be able to stand the bits you hear before fastforwarding past it.
Sorry but it has to be said, let these guys flip burgers or something, that way they do something useful and gain more respect too.
Two things you need, an official torrent with every episode, and an RSS feed for each download option. I would love to automagically download this everytime it's released.
Maybe Nilay can host the next one?
When is the next Engadget show coming out?!
great job guys, hope to see more of these in the future
Great show! Loved it.
Really good show guys. Look forward to many more. I came away with respect for Jon Rubenstein he was very candid and I felt like he was open with his answers. Josh you are pretty funny and epitomize the modern day geek. Hope you guys continue to keep it real on these products and not let sponsorship dictate your opinions.
Just a note : if you guys were real nerdy freaks, the label of the show would have been "EPISODE 000" and not "EPISODE 001", because evreyone knows you start a loop at 0 and not 1.
Where's the podcast?
Any update on when we can expect the podcast feed?
i was there. i was in the front row. i really liked the show. it was very unique in the way it was presented.
My only crtisism is that it is quite poorly lit, other than that a good show.
Josh--you need to work on the interviewing technique. You occasionally come off as pompous and insulting.
holy terrible lighting batman!
Jeeez, im no palm lover in the slightest bit but damn josh... wanna bash him any harder???
wow great show!!!..Go engadget!!
anyone get their free touchstone yet?
this straight up, kicks @$$. From the interview with Jimmy Fallon at CES, to the appearance on his show, I thought Josh should be doing his own thing in front of the camera. Great perspectives, great background, true "geek cred" and funny. This series will be a homerun.
Josh,
You came out on stage and looked like a very uncomfortable nerd. It was uncomfortable to the point I almost turned it off.
I stayed the course however and your really stepped up your game. You also strapped on a set bowling balls in your were pretty fearless with respect to your questions (when compared to say a David Pogue). Then you got comfortable and it just got better and better.
I think your lexicon, with respect to the podcast, was very good. You tend to say the word "honestly" about 5000 times a second on the podcast (one of your co-hosts says the work "like" enough to ensure he will never ever entire real radio) yet here in the video you were great!
The Engadget Show may be my fav form of engadget. The whole Engadget package as a whole is very compelling. Keep up the great work.
Can you please compress your videos with DivX? Thanks!
The show looks money on my 58 inch panny full screen and in HD playing from my PS3. Good work guys.
That was cool. For the people that were complaining about the download size, freedownloadmanager.org is your friend. For mac users - your not allowed in Times Square... and you have to pay for your download managers.
Hey this is truly informative, very glad to go through the post. Thank you very much.
