Leo is fast becoming HTC's latest worst kept secret. Pics and video are popping up everywhere with the latest set giving a full visual walkthrough of what appears to be
TouchFlo 3D 2.6 riding Windows 6.5. Even better,
ai.rs blog claims that Leo is indeed capacitive -- something strongly suggested by the
multi-touch video leaked a few days ago -- and not some
fancy resistive touchscreen tech. We've got backside action now too, sporting a big "HTCPRO.Three" stamp we presume heralds Pro3 branding whenever this 1GHz Snapdragon handset launches. But man, that 4.3-inch, 800x480 display's looking positively massive next to the 3.2-inch version found on the
Touch Diamond2. Check the back after the break.

words cannot describe how quickly I'll kick my iPhone to the curb for this when its released in the US (knowing HTC, a year from now)...

Wow, I HATE WinMo but this phone makes me like it!
It is so fast! I can't believe it!! HTC FINALLY made a phone that can pinch and zoom as fast as the iPhone!! I'm still shocked that it took them this long, though.
Why didn't they demo the keyboard though.. that's what I need to see. I hear it's almost the same as the Hero's though, which, on a huge screen like that, sounds very promising.
This phone is going to be EXTREMELY popular amongst geeks.

While I appreciate being about to have a preview, this was a terrible walk through of this device and software. I was going to scream if I saw him scroll the programs up and down one more time.
When doing a walk through of the software have somewhat of a plan instead of just pressing buttons and scrolling and pinching. Things I want to see are:
-typing a message with the keyboard in landscape and portrait
-making a call, receiving a call
-adding a contact, showing the address book
-web browsing... hello!!!
-taking a picture (can it post direct to youtube, flicker, facebook, etc.)
-taking a video (can it direct post to youtube, flicker, facebook, etc.)
-viewing an email
-adding an email account
-sending sms or mms or both
-calendar views, adding an appt, completing an appt
-showing some useful apps
Use the darn thing please.
