Video: BudsGoBlue teaser hints at iPhone 3GS-controlling BT headphones
Itching to command your iPhone 3GS via voice control, yet aren't willing to wrap one more cable around your precious dome? Your wildest dreams could possibly come true next month, when BudsGoBlue launches an iPhone-friendly set of Bluetooth earbuds that should act as headphones and a BT headset. We're hearing that the loops on each earpiece are "completely flexible," and judging by the teaser video hosted up just after the break, they look fairly seductive, too. Hop on down and have a peek for yourself, won't you?

Bad ripoff of AC/DC.
Hardly ear buds... keep em.
And they are black, not blue.
when with the people who actually get paid to do marketing actually break out of the .fla concept slideshow and actually spend more than 10 minutes on an ad.?
anyhow, lets continue the song jus 4 phun .......earbuds to the left of me, and earbuds to the right.....
This is what happens when you give the marketing guy a budget and he makes the ad himself in 10 minutes.
So You have these 2 pictures and the default fonts on your computer to work with, have at it.
....ain't got no wires, got no plug...
....dont you start no grudge....
WOW that video fails.
One picture at one angle, then another, then another, then an iPhone!!! YESSS!!! its what I've always wanted!!!!!!!!
I think I could have done a better job with freeware and 15 minutes . Those transitions were so cheesy, the music was meh', and the renders were boring. I hope they didn't actually pay this guy...
They look nice, but they certainly aren't the only or even the first BD stereo headset to work with the iPhone's voice control feature. I have the Motorola S9-HD and the Sony BT-50 and both work fine with the iPhone 3GS' voice control feature.
Yeah I got my own pair for $30 on Buy... http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=211822457 They work perfectly and have great battery life. One issue is the controls for music don't quite work- maybe these would? I'm not sure whether iPhone supports all of that functionality yet...
If Apple actually got AVRCP working in the damn Bluetooth profile on the iPhone, this would be a non-starter since all the Bluetooth headphones out there would already be able to control the phone.
yeah, this is one of my biggest problems with the iPhone, the bluetooth is still crippled.
So far I've found that sound quality in AD2P is just lacking, no matter what the headset.
Not with Sony Stereo Bluetooth. I had one and the sound was better than my wired set. Really cheap on Amazon too. You could jack in your own headset using the 3.5mm socket on the transmitter.
How come Apple cannot use standard Bluetooth profiles? HSP has support for remote send button to start voice dialling.
Sony-Ericsson and Nokia supported since they had Bluetooth equipped phones.
My HS-DS980's AVRCP functionality still doesn't work with iPhone OS 3.1, while it does work on any other Bluetooth phone.
well, this is very nice and all, but where is the engadget podcast. its like not on itunes or been psted.
I know right?
No, but i am itching to use my expensive and incredibly accurate BT GPS unit that I have been happily able to use with my past 3 phones. My recent purchase of Co-Pilot Live has somewhat accentuated the issue....damn you Apple.
- Sorry, whenever I see the words 'iPhone' and 'Bluetooth'...
Man that thing is fugly!
Give me my damn AVRCP Apple!!
Will it work with the iPod Touch? Or will that still have stupidly crippled bluetooth as well?
Why hasn't someone used biometric impedance to allow you to control your iPhone by touching yourself? Go ahead, ask me how you shuffle a playlist.
If you go to budsgoblue.com and select all on the page, you will see a hidden link, click it and select all again and scroll down to see this info.
Bluetooth Headphones Never get in the Way
The original package earphones for your IPod may be appealing in terms of design and sound, but the fact that they connect to your device via a cable can become highly frustrating. It is easy for cables to become tangled or to get hooked on something and damaged, not to mention the limitation a cable can place on free, comfortable movement when exercising. Wireless IPod headphones offer the perfect solution for enjoying your music in comfort, without the physical irritation of a cable pressing into your skin.
Our Bluetooth headphones Fit Various Devices
Our top-of-the-range Bluetooth headphones offer an affordable all-in-one listening solution for hearing audio from a range of sources. In addition to being excellent for use with a music player, our headphones can also sync wirelessly with music and regular cell phones which have Bluetooth functionality, computers (of both the Microsoft and Mac variety), gaming consoles such as a Playstation or Xbox, as well as other home equipment such as your TV. With multiple applications, our durable headphones can act as a replacement for other, less lightweight headphone sets.
Connect Your Bluetooth Stereo Headset to your Device Easily
If you have an IPod or another device which is not Bluetooth enabled, you may be wondering how you will be able to use a Bluetooth stereo headset with the device. We solve the lack of Bluetooth functionality in certain devices such as the IPod by offering Bluetooth adaptors which simply plug into the device to provide complete Bluetooth connectivity. Our JB-200 headset, which supports pairing with multiple devices, will allow you to put music on pause in order to receive a call, before returning to what you were listening to.
Bluetooth headphones which offer Comfort and Control
With an over-the-ear, lightweight construction and volume and play controls on the outside, you can enjoy our JB-200 wireless IPod headphones to the fullest. An over-ear design which is secure without causing discomfort will allow you to enjoy active pursuits such as working out or jogging while motivating yourself with your favorite tracks. With external play, pause, stop, previous, next and volume controls available on the earpiece itself, adjusting volume or skipping to a better track is easy.
Our Bluetooth Headphones are perfect for the Active Person
If you are an active person who enjoys a good workout or various sports, you will be glad to know that our Bluetooth headphones come with a lifetime warranty against damage due to sweat. As they say, you get what you pay for and although cheap headphones bought in thrift stores can provide some use, they usually break or crackle within a short period after purchase. Rather, obtain headphones which will last and will provide you with the crisp, clear sound which you desire.
Sooooo, what you're saying is that these have a volume control and call/answer button?
I'm overwhelmed with feelings of innovation :|
These look pretty sweet. Can't wait to try these out and junk my S9's
The video didn't say anything about compatibility with iPhone. None the less, they look slick.
I dont get it, why the hype?
..and where is that video!? Private ey?
what does that mean iPhone friendly? not all A2DP units will work with the iPhone?
Has anyone actually found out the genuine reason why Apple hasn't implemented AVRCP? I looked around on various forums back when 3.0 was released and couldn't find a proper answer. This was after shelling out some £65 on a set of Sennheiser MM200s (which sound great btw) because Apple stated that iPhone 3.0 would finally support Bluetooth stereo. They just didn't mention the lack of AVRCP. B**tards.
The video above has been set to private and won't play.
From the photo, though, they look good. I'd love to get rid of the physical connection. I'm all for wireless.
Not sure about that video. hmmm
Ok...so I take it...budsgoblue is made from the Jaybird people according to the earlier comment.
well...When do they come out?...when will the acual release date be?!?!?!
And why such the big secret!?!?!...all that said I still wanna try them out.
