A look back on popular stories from today in a specific year.

I'm not sure what to believe when it comes to AT&T. We were told month after month we were getting a new tower and we would have service.
They did put up a tower a year after the promised date. I posted on the other thread, I called ATT corp and talked to an AVP and was told,
please send back your iphones and we will let you out of your contract. Lets see, from the day we were promised a new cell tower I have sent them $5300
in monthly fees. We have a new tower and get no bars. Should be no bars in most places! Hey ATT all I asked for was a Micro Cell!
Sprint,Tmobile and Verizon all offer the same. My wife works for a fortune 100 company, her company uses ATT, I told her when the contract is up they should go with Verizon.
I think her company buys about six thousand phone a year from ATT. I hope they move the contract to Verizon. Sorry for the Rant!!
What is the purchase price for the device?
@Kevin
Operators can be awful. The fortune 100 company, should be able to ship your wife a pre-configured IP deskphone that hooks into the corporate PBX. if she works from home alot.
Bad timing AT&T. They just launched A-List. With a list most people won't need this $20 unlimited plan. My plan is too low to qualify for a-list, bu I'd upgrade my plan by $20 to get it before paying $20 for microcell unlimited.
I'll get the device, though. In a NIMBY neighborhood like mine we'll never see a new tower cover this hole.
