Video: Windows 7 launch party parody is bleeping genius

So by now you all know about Microsoft's painful, cringe-inducing Windows 7 party idea, and the accompanying goodie packs. What you might not have known is that Redmond also put together a 'Hosting Your Party' instructional video that blends all the worst parts of infomercials and cooking programs into one giant melange of awkward acting. Well, Cabel Sasser -- founder of Mac software maker Panic Inc -- has remixed said video, and the result is nothing short of a triumph. Journey past the break to see what we mean.

The parody is shit. But the original is mind-bogglingly hilarious. Like an episode of The Office (UK) you wanted to turn it off it was so cringeworthy......but couldn't. Are we sure MS aren't goofing with us --- they are surely not this lame? Maybe they've gone all post-modern on us and the joke is on us. Then again.....probably not.

I think the geek with glasses picked up the old lady via a Craigslist f/m ad. Divorced Cougar Hostess scored the black dude at Coyote Ugly, singles night.

I just have to say that the whole party idea is brilliant. My wife doesn't usually like me going to LAN parties, but since this is a "Windows Launch Party" I get to go. At the "Windows Launch Party" will be me and a few friends celebrating the new OS by shooting each other in a virtual world and yelling "W00T!"
