If we weren't too terribly impressed when the HTC Hero made the leap from Europe to the States, at least our funny bones are tickled by the device's inauguration into full-blown KIRFhood. Reports differ on the OS of the thing, but the features are 100% iPhone knock-off, including: dual SIM support, 1.3 megapixel camera, analog TV, FM radio, WiFi, and support for a host of audio and video formats. It's too bad this thing is only supports overseas (900MHz / 1800MHz) GSM -- for $140 we might be tempted to play. Gravity is acceleration, as it is measured in distance/time^2.

Since when the iPhone has dual Sim, FM radio and analog TV?
they should have said 100% KIRF standard, which isnt really a bad thing.
They didn't say they were iPhone features, they said they were "iPhone knock-off" features...

I was going to say the same thing. No iPhone has a 1.3MP pixel cam either, and I wouldn't call its A/V format support extensive.

fm radio, tv antenna, 700mhz processors man some of theses kirfs are better than the things there knocking off maybe htc and the other phone manufacturers can learn a thing or two from them.
And it costs $140 with no contract.

Dang, these KIRF guys are always so much faster as actually perceiving what the market wants and getting it to them.
