e-WOLF e2 seeks to electrify, succeeds
Woah. Looks like the Shelby Aero finally has some competition on its hands in the EV supercar stakes. Weighing in at less than 2,000 pounds, but generating north of 736 pound-feet of torque, the e2 should be, uh, kinda fast, while claims of a half hour charging time and a 187-mile cruising range are just too stupefying to contemplate. Power is stored in 84 lithium-ion battery packs from CERIO, and unleashed via four 134-horsepower motors -- one for each wheel. If you liked e-WOLF's e1, but thought it needed a dash of spicy Lamborghini-inspired styling and the acceleration to reach 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, well here's your answer. Production is set for 2011, and you can ogle the car's rear end after the break.

@hexydes. We are a capitalist nation, but now were going to a more socialist nation. If a business isn't successful then it goes out of business thats capitalism. Bailing them out was a bad idea. But yes this car is pretty nasty!! Its gotta be pretty quiet though
Who designed the body on that hideous beast? Boxy anything is not good looking. Except maybe, a box....
There's an E-wolf in your closet
The front looks like a BAMF - The back looks like WTF
That thing also looks like one giant blind spot.
Hungry like the e-WOLF?
eWOLF e2, you can have me!
Okay, that's awesome and all. But can it transform into a robot and fly? Huh? How about it auto industry? Where's my flying robot car?
I'll take two. One in white, one in red. Classy and mean.
Jesus H. Christ. This thing looks absolutely exquisite from the front. The back still needs work though... maybe try adding a window or some less vulgar air vents, or maybe position then behind the rear wheels, so they at least make a difference performance wise... I'm no car designer, but I think that a car that looks that way from the front needs to be done justice from all angles.
Looks more like an Enzo than an HP Envy looks like a Macbook Pro !
Yeh I said it.
WTF are you looking @????????? I JIMPed before even reading it...
Lamborghini-inspired .... Maybe
but sure does looks like the parents were Murciélago & Enzo
Batteries, batteries, batteries!
Electric vehicles pollute more compared to classic gas ones, because of the ressources used to build the batteries (the energy for all our vehicles will come for free from that continent-size solar fields up in space that the government just installed sum-dayzago).
Join the batteries revolution, now!
Meetings: every Sunday, 9 PM, right after the "Aren't they supposed to build moving sidewalks by now" meeting.
Hmm, not sure where everyone thinks electricity comes from, but it isn't made from magical pixie dust or for that matter wind or solar. Only a very small fraction of the electrical grid comes from wind and solar. We're still going have to burn coal or split atoms. That being said we have plenty of coal and fissile material, so where do I pick one of these up?
Or maybe I'll wait until Black and Decker comes out with the Mr. Fusion because this thing looks like it could benefit from "1.21 jigawatts!"
exactly. electricity must come from the mecury vapor in CFL lamps. Oh wait, no, they plan on using the heat generated by decomposing bodies from the dead caused by the mercury vapor and lack of air conditioning. Too bad, for the trillions spent on the TARP wall street cash cow, we could have hundreds of brand spanking new nuclear plants (the fourth generation ones), high speed mag levs, and gadgets galore out the wazoo. Instead, we are expected to have thrid world living conditions, hazardous substances, and unaffordable cars that strain an already diminuitive power system. Welcome to Mozambique. No, it's not even Mozambique, because they have 4G there.
stop confusing everyone with facts!
CFL bulbs are far less recyclable than incadescents, contain hazardous substances, and still have yet to offer similar spectral bands to incandescents. So besides the bad for environment, bad for health, and bad for reading and usage things that they are, the looney bins are still marketing them to us as salvation, and there's enough kickbacks in the system to have Congress force this third world losing tech on us.
Just like the baloney that Puron is better for the environment. It runs at 10X the pressure on the highside, and requires more to operate than freon... oh wait, people still believe Freon was bad for the environment. Had nothing to do with the patent expiring.
The only reason D.C. is behind these things is because there's enough skin behind the high prices, and skins make the game here.
oooops... my last post there was meant to be a reply @alex_s360
Is this a contest? I want one.
Whoa... and I thought the Tesla was good looking. Lambo-spired indeed.

CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
An EV should have better aerodynamics. There is nothing to cool, so why all the scoops?
thats one ugly backside.
It looks like a mix between a ferrari enzo and a lamborghini reventon
