I don't see the fail...and since you couldn't describe it yourself, I would guess you don't either. The people that just type "FAIL" are getting to be as interesting as those who type "FIRST".
I don't see how it's elegant when compared to the PS3 Slim. Sure it may be elegant and sporty if you compare it to a Mack truck.
Can you even call it a laptop when you don't have a keyboard or a touchpad? It's a (semi)portable PS3 and not a laptop.

like you can tell the difference at that screen size.
yes, you can clearly tell the difference between WXGA and WUXGA on a 17" display, you can even tell the difference on a 12" display, because you sit directly in front of it and not a few meters away as on a TV.
The PS3 (and xbox 360 too) only goes upto 720p (or 1080i, which is the same clarity, pretty idiotic).
Johannes, the PS3 plays 720p on plenty of games, particularly ports of 360 games, but I own 20 PS3 titles at least that are presented at 1080p with no gimmicks.
I don't know about the 360, but the PS3 certainly is capable of 1080p for some games.
Now, are we talking games like Gran Turismo or games like Flow is another matter.
Agreed! Thing is, 720p isn't awful, it's just once you've seen 1080p, it feels like a step back! And hi-res video, blu-ray etc. The newer Xbox 360's all come with hdmi ports now, which can output 1080p, don't quote me, could be 1080i but the output options on both my xbox360 and ps3 slim are set to 1080p!

I'm pretty sure, even if the box says 1080p, that most PS3 games are upscaled from from random resolution which is just above 800 lines.
even if most ps3 games are only 720p native (or less, CoD4 is 600p), i think some games do render in 1080p, not to mention that Blu-Ray movies are 1080p. and at the close distance you'll be viewing this thing, you can definitely tell the difference.
Bah .. If it isn't Uncharted 2-themed and doesn't come with a free version of the game I don't want it ...
(I would settle for a free copy of Modern Warfare 2 , however)

Actually, the grammar is correct.
He could have said "Is there anything you can't do?" with an expected answer of "No."
However, the question "Is there nothing you can't do?" is also correct, with an expected answer of "Yes."
The fact that he can doing something does NOT prove that there is nothing he can't do. He did not ask "Is there not nothing you can do?" - that is a completely different question from "Is there nothing you can't do?"

Nothing is not a negative as it is a noun. There is one negative in that sentence.
You probably think saying "I couldn't care less" is a double negative and you've proved that when it comes to grammar, you can't.

Now, I guess it's true... slim PS3s can't load Linux.
but Sony would have an awesome system if they sold PS3 laptops. I bet they could add this functionality to a regular laptop for $400. It could simply have an additional traditional processor.
I would really consider buying something like that. I guess that's just too far fetched.
its nice and all, and imma let you play it, but the last ps3 laptop was best of ALL TIME
