Hes confused because all of a sudden his pre can sync to itunes again...

I own an iPhone but I'm not a dickhead like you. I would love to own a Pre just to try out another interface. but until the GSM version comes out, I'll have to wait :(

As someone who owns neither, but has tested both extensively, I didn't really like either of them. I didn't like the way the pre talked to other computers (or lacked in that regard), and I didn't like the iphones lack of a physical keyboard and form over function interface..
There are better multitouch portable devices out there. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who have bought the apple marketing hype all the way, and don't even entertain the idea that there might be good devices not made by apple.

GoogleAdam: That chart shows that Apple has the greatest Year-Over-Year growth of any of those companies. Nokia, RIM, and HTC are all level from '08 to '09, compared to Apple, whose 09 sales were 600% of the previous year. Apple's bars may be smaller, but the trend is what's important here.

video is officially coming in a future update (besides the 3rd party hack that you can currently install)
I can only assume that you're a ifanboy (before you start... I have a 32gig 3Gs), but until 4 months ago, (thats 2 full generations) the iphone couldn't take video either....... or mms......... or cut/copy/paste. it still doesn't have a flash and I can't put a custom tone even if PAID for as the text tone.
if you're not talking about the iphone as a comparisson, then forgive me... but don't act like ANY company got it right with the first generation of a HUGE smartphone platform.
101 for a smart phone should be that it can do everything a decently spec-ed dumpphone can do.
Then work from there.
I'm fed up with smartphones that can (or make it awkward to) do things that normal phones have been doing for years.
Unlike the iPhone, people almost never mention the fact that the Pre doesn't do video or have Flash or have music syncing software.
It does have music syncing software. It's called iTunes :D
For the record, Pre does have a flash, though I think flashes on phone cameras are pretty laughable so I don't know why anyone would care.
I assumed Detox meant Adobe Flash.

you're right, but imo BOTH companies should have had video in their first devices. just because Apple screwed up and left it out doesn't mean that it's ok for Palm to do the same.

Is Numbers still good? I watched the first season and liked it a good amount. Still just a crime-drama like others, but more interesting and more educated, i think. (and no, I don't fall for fake math- it truly is more intelligent than others)
The first few episodes were decently intelligent and different, but then it turned into every other drama on TV and I stopped watching.
