"I think it must be hard for Palm to compete in what is now a largely Microsoft and Blackberry dominated market..."
Microsoft?
@cdenzel i think he's talking about mobile operating systems, not handsets, where WinMo does still hold a large part of the market.
"Huh this thing can multitask. My iPhone can't do that. I don't understand. Everyone says iPhone is the best..."
IT'S THE DUDE FROM THE SANTA CLAUSE!
Hey he's an actor not a genius. Let's be thankful he at least managed to hold it right side up.
Microsoft Fanboys: Big babies who are afraid that Apple might get better market share then MS and will do anything to stop it.
Apple Fanboys: Whiners who are trying to get Apple to get a bigger market share at any cost.
As far as I'm concerned, I use Macs, and I have an iPhone and iPod, but just because I use Apple products does not mean I am a fanboy. I don't care whether or not who has the bigger market share, but apparently almost every thread that has even a speck of relationship to MS or Apple, everyone must do a full-blown Apple vs. MS or something like that.
I'm probably going to get a very low-rank from this post because I insulted both MS fanboys and Apple fanboys, but guess what? It won't effect me in real life, because unless you can send me a virus through this comment, I'm safe.
Both companies are doing pretty well. It's the fanboys that blow things out of the water.
Microsoft: Windows 7, Zune HD, Windows 6.5, Courier, New antivirus for home users
Apple: Snow Leopard, Grand Central Dispatch, MMS added, New Keyboard and iTablet patents
Don't let the fanboys eat away your opinion of said companies.
i totally agree and its probably a good thing that apple has a smaller market share or more people would develop viruses for mac os
also not to be a grammar nazi or anything, but its affect not effect
Who says I can't? >: ]
"were did all my fart apps good? ..."
DIE!
My Omnia i910 has copy/paste, Flash, video recording, 5MP camera, GPS with Google Maps and Live Search, MMS, SMS, multiple exchange server sync, etc., etc... and always has. Oh yeah... it also functions as a 3G WiFi hotspot (we've had more than five users accessing internet on their computers via the Omnia... and one of them was Google Video Chatting).
Oh yeah... I've been able to do all this with my phone for a year, and the iPhone JUST NOW got MMS?
Oh yeah... plus my network actually WORKS.
Hilarious.
ps I saw that Angela Petrelli was using the Omnia on Heroes... but that's a little more embarrassing than cool.
I like how people used to argue how the iPhone used to not have basic features like copy/paste and MMS, but now that it does, the argument is that it JUST got it. No matter what, you haters just LOVE to talk bad about the iPhone no matter what Apple adds to it or how good it is. Whether the iPhone JUST got it or not, the point is it has it now.
Did your phone have an Internet browser half as good as the iPhone 2 years ago? Does your Omnia have one as good as Safari now? No and no.
As long as my browser supports Flash, and doesn't have to hang on Youtube's nuts, then yes.
The look on his face says, "It syncs with iTun... ... es... wait, huh? What... Oh, here we go, it syncs with iT... unes... what the?... Oh, yeah it does, it syncs with iTu... *ahem*..." ;)
