4 gigs max?
Whats with the name? Cause you sure as hell wont be seeing and billionaires carrying this POS around.
Upto 4gb for MicroSD? What the hell is with that. No support for SDHC?
SD doesn't go over 2GB without HC, remember?
Nice simple winmo implementation. That interface will need to be checked out to see how good it is.
it's sbp mobile shell
I love the look of SPB Mobile shell, but it's a charge guzzling interface! It all comes down to how B6 handles the UI processing.
If it's really SPB Mobil shell, then hitman is right. It'll eat some resources.
The new MS3.5 is not to hard on my touch pro, batery life is the same as running TF3D
&
(tm)
are we in 2006? my XDA orbit 2 has similar features. the only good thing abt this phone is winmo 6.5 and little high clockspeed. and support for upto 4gb only???
more storage, android, and bigger screen pls
i want that ui
Buy it!
It costs 29 $.
I used it for a while on my TouchHD , but in the end I found TouchFLO more practical and cool
Custom interface = SPB Shell
LMAO
they call it a customized UI.
This spec should worth less than $50.
Nailed 'em. Honestly. They're just advertising "a custom shell?" A custom shell any schmuck with WinMo can pick up for $30?
QVGA. Lmao.
That interface is called SPB mobile shell, runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, 6.5... Really nice and very customizable... You can download it and try it for to weeks too as it comes with a two week trial.
Wow that screen looks way too small to run a comfortable SPB Mobile 3 lifestyle setup lol
that interface is just the one from spb, called spb mobile shell and available for all winmobile phones. i use it on my xperia and love it.
they dont make enough good smaller sized smartphones
all the ones from htc are lacking something, so they all suck
touch pro - no headphone jack, shitty ass buttons
diamond - no headphone jack, shitty ass buttons
tp2 - no headphone jack, EVEN SHITTER buttons
diamond 2 - no headphone jack, EVEN SHITTER buttons
Treo Pro - cannot install roms, slightllyy too small buttons.
so here we are, the top 5 htc phones as of recent on WM. They all suck
the only choice is to use the Xperia x1, as i do.
because it has alll of these features except the accelerometer. However good buttons and a jack, are way more important then that.
Do you actually own one of those HTC phones?
I have the TP and I don't really mind that stuff.
This is how I responded to those non-existent/bad features:
No jack: you know there is no jack, so you buy for like $20 an additional adapter which works fine for me...
If you buy a $600 phone those $20 shouldn't slap you in the face...
Bad buttons: I actually agree (if you're talking about the direction-keys), till the moment you're using it for a month and you realize that with a touchscreen you actually never use them.
I'm using the TP for little more than a year and must say I'm very pleased with it, but of course running a custom rom :D
So was it Kempler & Strauss or Engadget that decided a good PR photo would involve a screen with "soft reset" on it?
LMAO.. i guess they're just trying to cover their butts on the poor specs! I know my old treo 700w coulda really used this, as i had to do one almost every day to get it to work!! i have a tilt running that SPB shell and i love it... its a VERY snappy ui.. seems like alot of companies out there make their living off correcting microsoft's mistakes... or at least making it look and feel way better than microsoft left it... nope.. these winmo phones dont sway me anymore... im mentally preparing for a life switch to android... wish i could have a gsm hero that ran 3G here in the US.... sigh..
exactly what i was thinking... why oh why would they advertise the need for quick access to reset your phone? yikes
What the hell does this have to offer over...basically any other smartphone? Pretty much the only way they could make this thing work is to do something different. Sell it at Best Buy/Wal-Mart/Target for $150 unlocked and then maybe I'm a bit interested. But $250 on a contract. Psh, many, many other fish in that sea, I'm afraid.
Even just last week someone asked me what kind of "cool phone" I was using.
It's a samsung i760. Running WinMo 6.1 and I consider it a piece of junk, aside from having wifi, which can be nice.
....anyways, point is...are these people serious. Just releasing a phone with crap specs now?
I literally bought my phone 1.9 years ago.
Im 1.43495 times cooler than you
Cool story, bro.
17mm thick? And I thought LG GD910 (13.8 mm) or even Samsung S9110 (12 mm) were bulky.
Wait... a whole 4GB SD card? And a THREE MP phone?! Can you use it to answer calls from back in time? I think 2005 is calling because they want their phone back.
I agree that the phone is outdated. Given your retort, it appears to be a perfect fit for you.
Sorry, wrong post, I was referring to Kempler & Strauss W PhoneWatch.
Jesus, people!
Not everyone needs nor wants the phone you personally desire.
Im 1.43495 times cooler than you.
All your Base are Belong to us.
Does it say anywhere that the 250 is on a contract?
I'm fairly sure this phone is 250 dollars unlocked.
Which, if you think about it, isn't bad.
Whatev
Custom UI,, Accelerometer, WiFi, GPS, 3MP, 4GB MAX. $250
Samsung Omnia: 5MP, Accelerometer, WiFi, GPS, 8GB internal with 32GB max MiscoSDHC, and same SPB MS3.5 "Custom" UI. $50 on VZW contract. Let's think about this...
Hysterically crappy PR advertises their SPB Mobile Shell phone with the "Soft Reset" widget on the home screen. Reminds people they are buying a potentially crappy, unstable device.
The MS3 interface is far better than winmo6 IMHO.
