I never thought a show about super heroes could suck this much. I think I've spotted the HTC Hero and the Palm Pixi as well on Heroes. Searching for new Sprint product placement gives me something interesting to do while I'm waiting for anything interesting to happen this season.
The whole Heroes show is a marketing ad for Sprint. Any time a phone call is being made, they make sure you can see the Sprint logo.
The same goes for just about every other show on tv...
Just look at American Idol (att) and Gossip Girl (verizon)....
Ok, just for mentioning those two shows, I'm going to go punch myself in the balls...

Looks like the Palm Pre articles are becoming less and less popular. The only ones getting some real attention are those involving the iTunes syncing controversy.
I was excited as hell about webos. I swore that as soon as I got a chance, I would buy one. Then I seriously looked at it and found out that it is nearly as restricted as the iphone. Now I could care less and will get an htc windows mobile, or an android phone. If I want a locked down phone, I'll stick with the iphone because it is very good at what it does.

They don't let app makers replace the standard apps that come with the phone. o wait

LOL Nearly as restricted as the iPhone? So Palm giving URL links fordevelopers to distribute their apps anyway outside the app catalog is as restricted as the iphone? That palm annoincing open source apps will have absolutely no approval process except for making sure its not malicious.. That's the same as apple? Right now Palm is even a bit more open than android. I love android but I'm just saying. This guy obviously doesn't know what he is talking about.
Yeah...almost as open as android, where you can distribute your app without even talking to Google. You don't even need them to check if it's malicious or not...there's no enforced gatekeeper at all. (sure, if you want to get it into the Android Market there's a little more hoops to jump through, but that doesn't stop you from throwing it up on your own website or selling it through one of the competing android stores).

I was still hoping Heroes would come back with a strong season/story, but they keep writing this drama bull that is so boring. I mean how many times did we have to see that whole scene with Hiro coming back several times to try and save that Tadashi guy.
And I guess now we won't see Nathan Petrelli anymore. Its kinda funny though when you think about the writers who must have thought that if the last scene of last nights Heroes showed Sylar coming from the ground, the audience would gasp in excitement. I'm pretty sure everyone watching Heroes probably yawned instead.
The things Heroes is missing right now is actual use of powers and action, to mix in with a more gripping storyline. Which is what we're coming to see! In a 40+ minute episode, we see maybe a total of 1.5 minutes of actual power usage, and that's being liberal, and a storyline that has far from gripped our attention as a whole. Atleast, that's how I see it...
Oh yeah, this article was about the product placement. Hell, they've been doing that since the beginning, but MAN has it gotten worse lately.
It still is Nathan inside, Sylar is still inside Matt.

Big ad for sprint?, I wonder who pays more, Sprint or NIsaan. He was sitting in an Inifintit FX, and everyone on the show is driving a nissan. The first and 2nd season focused around a nissan rogue and nissan versa

Why do people hate Sprint? I have great coverage, fast 3g, and pay alot less then most, and love my pre? I will admit that the only other carrier I've had was at&t with an Iphone. Liked the phone hated at&t. So an honest question not ment to cause a fight just curious?
Because apparently Laura enjoys using the vibrator function on her iPhone... and since its locked to AT&T, she doesn't have any other choice than to write an article that pokes fun at a carrier that in my personal opinion, is doing much much better than AT&T. Even our roaming uses Verizon (and roaming is free on Sprint), so technically, we have fantastic service all the time. :)

The amount of Sprint product placement in this show is disgusting (of course so is the whole Nathan's dead so lets make Sylar think he is Nathan instead of just getting Clair, who is right downstairs, to bring Nathan back to life plot line).
Nothing has been as bad as the episode where they were in Africa and tried to use a cellphone but had no coverage and one character said "Should have gone with Sprint." It is shameless.
