You must not have a zune or you just trollin. Zune always has free giveaways and their podcast are always free. But I'm sure you knew that already.
Yeah, seems like there's a new free song every time I jump on the Marketplace. Sometimes a whole sampler album. Even better, a slew of TV pilots.
um, i have a old brown 30gig zune & a 16gig zune hd
zune has to have theee WORST interface fort putting content on it's device.

it's been running since monday.
even itunes isn't THAT slow.

i would not know that there were free songs in the marketplace. due to the glacial pace that the interface moves when i use it.

Yeah, actually its pretty big in the minds of the two million people that own them. Not to be confused with the two "hundred" million that own an iPod. Obviously, its this product that is so much better than the iPod is, yet they don't sell any... hmm. See (in the eyes of Windows user) OSX sucks, thats why Microsoft own most of the computer market, but then you would think the same would apple to mp3 players, if Ipods own the majority of the mp3 markert, that would make them better. But see, this is where it gets tricky (More Windows sales equals a better product/less OSX sales equally shitty Apple product) but then (more iPod sales equals trend followers/less Zune sales equals smarter shoppers) see how that works? so in both cases, Microsoft rules!
@derrik: A: Zune HD sales numbers, have them? No? Then go away.
B: Your second argument fires back a bit on you. So, since you're implying the Zune's lower sales numbers mean that it's a worse product, then that must mean that OSX is a much worse product as well. Or maybe, sales numbers just mean nothing with respect to how good a product actually is and you instead have to look to reviews(initially critic reviews and then user ones). Let's see, judging from Amazon, the Zune HD is rated at 4.5 stars vs. the iPod Touch which is at 3.5... Hmm...
@derrik: Just give it up and use what you like.
The Zune HD is pretty awesome and the only reason I don't have one is cause I already have an iPhone 3GS and don't have the extra money right now. Also, have you guys used the latest Zune desktop software? It's really good. UI and layout much better than iTunes imo. Wish MS would release an Apple version.

thats nice, but zune has completely locked me out of the marketplace and now i cant even get album info. thanks microsoft. it was bad enough the marketplace isnt in canada, but now i cant even get album covers

Anyone else having problems downloading the first episode from zune marketplace? Everytime I try to download, it gets to the point where the download is complete but then the file is missing and the zune software just has a yellow warning sign next to the podcast. Help anyone?
