T-Mobile sending out early November event invites for Bold 2 launch?
We're not sure whether we'll see official PR before then, but it seems that T-Mobile is quietly slipping lucky individuals invites to "executive briefing" events for the upcoming Onyx / 9700 / Bold 2 to be held early next month. Boy Genius Report so far seems to have the inside line on a November 3 date in LA followed by November 5 in the Big Apple, and like pretty much everything else BlackBerry-related, "business casual" attire is suggested. Certainly seems to match up nicely with a November 11 retail launch, doesn't it?

How do you get invited to these type of events?
Maybe they'll be kind enough to invite those Sidekick users whose data was lost?
It's their apology for "We fu**** up".
hmmmm, hopefully this bold is actually affordable. Rather happy with my Samsung Jack, but kinda wish I could have given that beautiful screen a spin instead.
Still using trackball? LOL
trackball... yes. at least i can use it with my gloves. yes. people still wear gloves and its a pain to keep taking them off when you just want to check new txt or email delivered.
I know my gloves don't work with my touch ipod... i assume that's the case with all touch screens regardless who makes them?
WOO HOO!!! Time to polish my dress shoes, iron my dress shirt, and clorox my white gloves. It is going to be a good night of door-opening, yes-sir-ing and I hope they at least give me a $5 tip, geez !
That is one way to get invited ... I guess.... BRB Mr. Robinson needs someone to unfold his napkin ( gotta be an iPhone user... They need to make an application for to teach him that... )
oh please, i doubt that you got invited.
I don't care, I want better coverage for Tmobile So I can switch to *any phone they carry
Blackberry Steelix?
pokemon reference for the win!
Supposedly they're going to offer a $50 unlimited voice, data, messaging plan as well...
$50 on t-mobile for those attending or for general pubic?
RIM Marketing blurb:
"Blackberry....It's the phone that is still pretty good. For the times you need a pretty good phone but can't get an iphone for whatever reason, it's the next best thing....or maybe 3rd or 4th best....oh hell we don't know anymore with this Android thing and all the other competition but we got a physical keyboard and you can convince yourself that we're good because of that and you wouldn't want an iphone anyway."
"Oh, and we're good for email too. Don't forget."
Too bad it isn't possible to get a decent tmo 3G signal!
can anyone seriously take t-mobile seriously right now?
does anyone know if engadget got invited.
*Massive data loss*
"Uh, by the way, we're having a product launch. Love us?"
I know it's far from TMo's fault, but it's gotta be hard to send out a launch announcement after today.
Oooh. New Blackberries are about as exciting as Bic coming out with a new pen!
this comment made my laugh out loud and fall over tht was so great you need to be like up ranked 5454678596 times not that i hate blackberry but the common thing with them and boring tht was just so fricken great thank you for making my day :D
Why hasn't Engadget reported on T Mobile's Project Dark? This is supposedly happening in the next 2 weeks and its reported by other sites, but nothing here.
To get an invite speak to your T-Mobile corporate rep.
The last time they had one of these events they announced price drops as well so I wouldn't be surprised if they mention project dark as well.
