We were fairly impressed by Blaze's knack for impressive but questionably useful gadgets when it introduced a
three-cart contraption for the DSi last month, but it looks like it's truly outdone itself with its latest peripheral. While it's possible that it's the result of some miscommunication or a bet taken to its limits, it does appear that the company is indeed set to release a controller that can only be described as a Wiimote for the PlayStation 3. Of course, it's still a bit light on specifics, but Blaze says its so-called Motion Freedom 3D Controller will open up "unthinkable gaming possibilities," and let you "become one" with games like Sega Tennis and Tiger Woods Golf. It's even been "ergonomically designed from the ground up." How can you possibly go wrong?
what's next? a wii emulator ps3 port?
wow, that is a total copy of the wiimote, although i do like it
better then the actual ps3 motion controler which is but ugly in my
opinion. let the flaming begin.
Where is the glowing orb? I thought it needed this in order to be tracked precisely.
its all fun and games until Nintendo sues your ass, with reggie as the persecutor. (and no, i dont mean prosecutor)
natal is going to make both sonys and nintendos motion controller look like 1980's tech
You should change your name before posting comments like that. Besides, natal don't do really much more than the PS-EYE already do, not to mention it will have a real controller on hand.
But I hope all motion control fails, because I don't want waving my arms and standing up to play games. That's why I hate my wii so much.
I'm with you Jocaju.
I see motion control as a party toy, and that's it. Big budget games are primarily driven by FPS and RPS. Two types that won't ever be motion control. I for one, hate motion control. When I play games, I'm relaxing...if I want to have to move around, I'll go outside and play sports or something.
As for Natal - I'm thinking there is a reason SONY decided to ignore that sort of motion control. They built it, used it, and decided it was a gimmick that won't get practical use beyond kiddie games and party games. Not the market SONY is after. That's the market X360 needs, as it's hitting it's upper limit of graphic/processing capabilities right now.
naw motion controls the way of the future just the applications of it now a pathetic it will pave the wave for the fully virtualised games than well play that have 1:1 movement abilitys(remember to play on a soft surface that way when you jump you can go prone on the way down :P
...will open up "unthinkable gaming possibilities,"...
Don't you mean "unthinkable lawsuit possibilities" ??
ergonomically designed from the ground up
oh thats right nintendo build theres fron the sky down i see the diferences now and by design the mean /copy invert colours :P
there's a PS3 out in the gaming market?...wen did this occur? Am i missing something ladies n gents?
