Yes thanks alot Samsung for skipping the update on the bd-p2500 and 2550 blu-ray players, which were $500.00. They gave us Netflix and Pandora, and didn't give us the YouTube update and now this one is not for us. According to Samsung it is for 2009 models, I purchased my player in January of 2009. They keep touting that will strive to bring new services to their tv's and players, then limit which models. There is no reason the 2550 cannot be updated, it has 1gb memory, BDlive and works fine with streaming. I purchased this player because it was their last model to include the HQV Reon processor.
