250GB PlayStation 3 Slim coming to US November 3rd

It's no Uncharted 2 bundle (hello, Europe), but US gamers will indeed be getting their own 250GB PlayStation 3 Slim bundle, due to hit stores on Novvember 3rd for $349.99, just one Ulysses S. Grant more than the 120GB model. No other difference beyond the storage capacity, and of course you can always swap out the 2.5-inch SATA drive yourself with warranty kept intact. Holding out for some limited edition artwork or PS2 compatibility? Keep on dreaming.

i don't even know what to do with the 60 gb i have right now.
I love gaming console manufacturers. Sony has released 9 versions of the PS3.

I would really love to see less "Cool new PS3 re-development buy-what-you-already-own" articles and more "Sony/Microsoft frustrated that people are content with their purchases, begin development of next-gen consoles"
As a 360 owner I find the ps3 becoming more and more compelling, or rather the ps4 when bungie finally does away with halo
if it ever does away with halo of course.

if you were going to buy a PS3 and 2 games - what would they be for a newbie?? little big world and call of duty?? been playing wii the last 2 years with my little ones

Metal Gear Solid 4
LBP is loads of fun, but for little ones it might be a little hard as some levels are pretty complex, its no Mario. I played it with my girlfriend through most of the game and she almost destroyed my 2nd controller because sometimes she got frustrated trying to press jump and pressed it really hard and sweats from her hand got in, I had to open the controller and clean it lol. I hope my girlfriend is at least on par with your little ones lol, well at least you'll have fun. But it has great replay value since you can play many many user created levels when u connect online, they are free and constantly updated, I'm still playing this game after a year or so now.
Metal Gear Solid4 is just for you, no little ones. It's like watching a movie and playing it through, so if you don't mind half movie and half game since some cutscenes are like 30 mins long, give it a try. Its very easy on Easy mode, so the game part is pretty enjoyable.
There are many PSN games (games you download from the playstation store) that's very enjoyable and suitable for children.
Hey it's only $50 more for twice as much storage! Nice move by Sony. Makes me forget about their *cringe* PSP Go.
Well have fun waiting guys cause the 250Gb Slim PS3 has already turned up here in Oz too. Still not going to buy one...but I could and thats all that matter. Its being sold for $599 with 2 games compared to the 120Gb for $499 with 1 game.(Aussie $ of course) For those wondering thats $551 USD at the current exchange rate so yes we are getting screwed for an extra $206(USD)...hmm note to self buy stuff from US while exchange rate make stuff stupidly cheap for us aussie to buy off you.

No thanks, I just bought my 120GB PS3. I don't need to spend more $$$ for bigger Hard Drive, 120GB is plenty!
