waterproof LG GD900 Crystal in a fish tank -- and popped open the hollow keypad of his own
Crystal, slapped in two unfortunate little neon tetras, squeezed in some water and snap! There's no mention on how long the poor things can survive in there for, but chances are PETA will be after your backside well before something goes wrong. We also went through the warranty paperwork, and honestly, we think this gentleman might be in a fishy area here. Video of the mod after the break, if you dare.

WOW! He left those fish in there for a very long time before he actually filled the phone with water.
considering that's his fishtank, he probably did this more for show that to actually carry fish inside his cellphone. And have you actually smelled dead fish?? it smells life female you know what... actually sushi also smells like that...
Really Rigidcity? I've never been with a woman who had a "dead fish" smell...anywhere. Maybe you've just had a bad run...

Regarding PETA, really now don't some animals eat other animals? What are you going to do to stop that??? I mean if we are not supposed to eat animals why are they made of meat? Seriously now. I love cute little kitty's and clumsy little puppy dogs but I can't eat more then one at a time. (Don't get me started on how good the gravy is..)
Kidding aside, yes it's probably not the nicest thing for the little fish to have to live in a cell phone. He should put them back in the fish tank. Then again the ratio of size of those fish to the space in the cell phone about compares to my 400sq ft apartment. Please someone put me in a larger apartment!!!

This is not really a gadget story and more of an animal cruelty story. Obviously the fish won't last very long because they're being oxygen deprived and starved and sitting in stale water if that doesn't kill them. Not really newsworthy Engadget, slightly disappointed.
