Well, what do you know? Last we saw MSI's Wind Box DE200, it was sittin' pretty at
a booth at CeBIT. Evidently it has seen quite the makeover since that debut, with the latest imagery showing it (alongside the DC200) with far edgier enclosures. We have to say we dig the new digs, but we're most excited about the US pricing and pre-order pages. Both units are still (under)powered by a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, and predictably, both feature 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home running the show. No firm release date has been nailed down for the US market, but Amazon has 'em both up for pre-order right now at $249.99 (DC200) / $299.99 (DE200).

"Why I would buy from company can't afford advertising, and use English no good?"
This is the fourth forum on Engadget today that I have read with these damn spam posts. What is this - youtube?
uumm... eee....still won't buy one...
Awesome! The Wii HD!... Wait a second...
omg dude, the first thought I had was "that looks an awful lot like a Wii"...
Wonder how hard it would be to stick the Wii innards in that shell.
O.o
Damn, someone else already beat me to noticing that. Oh well.
But it doesn't even have ION!
So it's not HD?
HD !=Ion. This has an ATI Radeon HD 4350.
Sorry, the fact one of them has HD 4350 in it is something I EXPECT Engadget to mention. I know I should read the article, but really, that's a pretty significant difference between them.
Yeah I've just kind of come to expect a Nettop to have ION as the graphics hardware...
Maybe I'm missing something, but why would you buy an Atom machine like this when you could get something like a HP Pavilion Slimline instead?
This or an US import PSP-Go, tough call.
...or a PS3 Slim.
I think I'll take the Slim.
This won't even be able to play my 1080p porn. Garbage.
A HD 4350 is designed to play 1080P content.
the shape of the computer reminds me of IBM blue gene.
I don't know if this is the one for me, but it's pretty awesome that media center comps are arriving at a realistic price range.
They'll have arrived once they are powerful enough (or Flash is modified enough) to play full screen content from sites like Hulu
this looks pretty bitchin. Totally would hackintosh it and use it as an apple TV for my living room. I also have a Wind u100-432us which has the ability to overclock with a bios settings change and a key combo, so I wonder if this has it too...
oops, that was supposed to go to the spam post!
my bad.
This is pretty sad considering than $30 more gets you these improvements in the Acer 330:
1) Dual core Atom 330
2) Windows 7 Home Premium
3) 2GB DDR2 RAM
4) nVidia ION chipset

The ION isn't better or worse is it?
lenovo Q110
Well, they did manage to uglify it.
This Design was already shown at the Computex: http://www.newgadgets.de/?attachment_id=5360
If this machine has:
Atom 330 Dual Core 1.6 + Nvidia ION or,
Athlon Neo X 2 1.6 + ATI
and sold under $300 this will be an easy buy!!!
Still waiting out for the MSI Wind Bag...
