Microsoft's Windows Cafe opens its doors in Paris

Japan may be home to the Windows 7 Whopper, and the US has the less edible contents of the very first Microsoft Store, but it looks like Paris may be the real place to be for out and about Windows fans, as it can now claim the only Windows Cafe in the world as its own alongside all those other little tourist attractions you might be interested in. Better still, it looks like the cafe serves up at least as many types of drinks as Windows editions, and there's some WiFi available for those looking for a place to loiter around. Hit up the link below for a peek inside courtesy of Le Journal du Geek.

Loitering FTW
Why does this make me want to gag?
Great news for MS investors. Another MONEY LOSING venture from MS
has arrived!
can I get some fries with that?
Wow, how original.
No, it's "Do you have Windows Royal, please?"
I really want to go in there with a MacBook. And I don't even like Macs, I just think it would be hilarious.
They probably do have some tolerance for it. You know that there are going to be at least a couple of people (including people who prefer windows machines) in there with their ipod touches.

Don't take the bait, people
This feels as contrived as McDonald's new coffee initiative.
Would be cool to bring a macbook pro with win7 installed and ask for support lol
wow, this is pretty amazing. A Windows coffee house. Contrived, yes, but still kinda cool. I agree that it would be kinda funny to bring my MacBook in there (and no, I am not a Mac fanboy. I own Windows computers also).
Barista: "Cream & Sugar, Cancel or Allow?"
You should definitely allow that install. The Cream & Sugar Service Pack makes things much smoother.
Ima bring out all the MS puns right here:
1.Cafe, would you like it home basic, home premium, or ultimate?
2. Can i get a CafeSOD, alongside with two errors
3. Can i order a 7
anyways yea puns puns puns,
but i will visit that cafe anyways.. with me mac :)
"I am sorry, your guest's cafe has been spilled and lost"
"Do you want Lion Coffee, Cheetah Coffee, Desert Pussy Cat Mocca Late ?"
"Served in California. Picked, packed and brewed by the same Chinese that picked, packed and brewed your Windows cafe"
"We have coffee with 0 iCals and fat-free"
"Please refrain yourself from putting your iCafe into a manila envelope"
"I'm sorry you cannot pick insure the coffee cup. All of your cups are unibody. No flavors, extra sugar, or unauthorized, unapproved cremes can be pour in" (Don't worry, I heard someone by the corner can jailbreak your coffee"
"I'm sorry you cannot PEEK inside the coffee cup. All of our cups are unibody. No flavors, extra sugar, or unauthorized, unapproved cremes can be pour in" (Don't worry, I heard someone by the corner can jailbreak your coffee"
Coffee? I'd rather have Cocoa.
One question, where is the mac cafe?
Oh-là-là, C'est magnifique ce truc-là ! Je voudrais visiter ce café. Bon, Windows 7 c'est bien sexy, aussi sexy que Paris. :D
Félicitations Microsoft ! J'aime bien votre nouveau logiciel ! Vive Fenêtres 7 !
CROISSANT CROISSANT for y'all!
McDonald's in the Louvre and now this...this ought to rub the French the wrong way.
Naw, we are cool with it.
The WiFi won't accept iPhone connections though, move along.
Ah! Thankfully at least some kind of social filtration exists in this politically-correct world!
It's camouflaged as Starbucks
I have seen more Windows Laptops at Starbucks than Macs.
hm.... I wonder if macs are allowed inside?
Dking: It's called Starbucks, college campuses and mossberg's pants.
So when they close at night, do the room lights and/or front windows turn blue??
No, but if too many people place their orders at once, service slows to a crawl.
So much irony here. All the things Mac users are accused of doing, waiting in line at a store, going to cafes, listening to devices that have more form than function (Zunes) are actually things that Windows users are starting to do. Who's drinking the Kool-Aid now?
I told you guys not to take the bait....
They better take out those colors cause the ultraviolet light from the sun will fade it fast. Ah, on second thought, leave it cause they'll be taking the entire damn store away in a few months due to slow foot traffic. Hello Ballmer, The French hate America and Americans and I can't wait to read the negative press from the French papers on that tired ass pedestrian crap.
Stick with putting stuff like that in your own country and stop trolling in the city of love just to make your nasty OS seem Le Exotic.
French don't hate americans lol. I am french dude, I currently living in LA and don't hate americans at all :D.
But I got to say that I hate you phone carriers and their expansive unlimited plan!
Do you really guys that all french hate americans? (but perhaps you are also thinking that all the french got a béret and carry a baguette on a bicycle...)
Windows Cafe's coffee is basically 7 cups of trans fat concentrated to fit in one single cup!
I think this is the way to do it instead of copying the Apple Stores. Much better idea than a straight up Apple Store rip-off. I'd go.
You'll probably get flamed, wacked when you bring your macbook in the Cafe. LOL
can you bring your mac if you want to use the wifi in this cafe?
