"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
I too am tired of waiting for the Omnia 2. Being as the Motorola Droid is available on Nov. 6th, I am leaning toward getting the Droid. Is this a good move or should I wait for the Omnia 2??
I had the i910 on Verizon. I really liked the hardware, and I seem to be one of the few who don't have any problems with WinMo, but TouchWiz gets old really quickly; it looks nice and all but it's not the most efficient way of getting things done, and many of the widgets were/are too small for their own good, not useful, or were things that someone would always want on a homescreen by default (like the calendar or the clock). I don't knock them for giving us options though. Regardless of that, I got tired of waiting too and got an Imagio two weeks ago. Though I still have 12 more days to return the phone, I don't plan on doing so. I've been waiting on Samsung and Verizon to release the Omnia II since June, and now I'm done waiting.
