Titanium Mouse by Intelligent Design costs $1,200, might be worth a little less
No matter how bad the global economy gets, you can always rely on there being a select few people with (a lot) more money than sense. Exclusively for them, Dutch outfit Intelligent Design has put together this handcrafted Bluetooth laser mouse, which boasts a neodymium scroll wheel, high quality plastic resin and a grade 1 titanium body. We didn't know you could handcraft titanium and we challenge anyone to explain what neodymium has to do with good input ergonomics, but then maybe that just shows how little we know about luxurious items like this. So, if you have $1,200 (or €800 in Old World money) to spare, why not add this unnamed mouse to your shopping list, just under the Mnemosyne USB drive? More snaps can be found after the break.

No is going to $1200 for a non Apple mouse.
Another case of form over ergonomics. It looks about as comfortable as the Apple Magic Mouse ( which looks pretty but feels awful after five minutes of use ) I'll stick with something that is designed to fit in my hand and cost less then a lot of computers.
I'd better be getting complimentary hookers and blow with each mouse.
Well, maybe that's included?
the finer things in life, eh?
with that price, i better get forced auto-aim and wallhax on counterstrike.
Intelligent Design Titanium Mouse - $1200.
Getting pwned by me with my $20 Logitech - priceless.
This is exactly what should happen in a healthy economy and in a struggling one. my goal is to try to create value and extract wealth from others by selling them a product or service that they see valuable.
I doubt that this rises to the occasion but if they sell one mouse, good for them. I will bet that unless this mouse has some super-fantastic software that comes exclusive with the mouse, it will not sell. If anything, the design will be mimicked to produce a cheaper mouse - maybe steel, or even plastic.
Plus, once civilization collapses in 2012, you can use it as an axe head.
Many idiots are there to pay for it .
Intelligent design...at a very unintelligent price.
that mouse cost more than my computer.
You guy must be poor. I have ten of them.
Just by the name of the mouse, using it at a school would lure Fox News.
oxymoron = Intelligent Design costs $1,200
And the mouse pad? Part of the bundle?
I need this. For my vacation home.
Lovely, i'm sure 99% of proceeds will go to charity. Looks like intelligent design can afford it
what you mean with "old world money" are you insulting people from Europe that visit your blog??
Creationalists i presume.
Gorgeous. But the ergonomics will be horrible, the price is ridiculous...
