black Nintendo Wii some of us have been drooling over for the past few months. Sure, it's just a regular Wii... but it's
black, which is so much cooler. Well someone's finally gotten their hands on it and done an unboxing, and we have to say that it looks even better than it did in the press shots. The
limited edition Black Wii bundle with Wii Sports Resort and a Motion Plus controller will run you
around £164.99 in the UK, and those of us in the US? Well, we'll just have to

The reflection shows the white wii hence this the black wii was photoshopped all along lol.

It looks no better than one on those case replacements you can get, the fact that you can see white plastic on the inside is disappointing, it looks really cheap.
But why is that guy's white Wii missing a piece on the top? There is foul play afoot!

The only thing that is scary is that when this is released in the US it will sell like no tomorrow (and most of the customers will ALREADY own a white wii). DX

Those who DON'T already have one are probably now holding out for an HD version.
I use mine, but the only way I would switch to a different Wii is if there was some way to transfer my downloaded games.

Does the white on the inside borders on the disc drive bother anyone else? Still though, I think it looks awesome in black.

That little ring is probably the clear plastic lens for the blue LED that comes on when you put a disc in or have a message.

its actually a clear plastic LED light which glow blue whn you inster discs/ recieve messages
People, there is no "white plastic" showing on the inside of the black console. Take a good look at this, more than one person thinks that there is white plastic showing, it's not, it's white light reflecting off curved portions of the glossy black shell, particularly where the disc slot curves in and a few other places where the white bright light from the quality photo shoot is being reflected. It doesn't look cheap, it looks classy. Get some glasses.

I like it, though I think I like the white one more. The black one just looks a bit too much like every other gadget sitting by the TV.
Matching accessories by the TV, particularly with something like the Wii (which is advertised as family-oriented and therefore more likely to end up in living rooms), are probably a plus in most cases.

The N64 didn't get its many colors until very late in the game. Quite late actually.

Black Friday is the most overhyped day of the year. Granted, I know it is very important for retailers, so I'm not arguing for all of those shoppers to stop going nuts over it, but really... I find equally good deals on better quality products all year long. But who am I to tell someone they can't wake up a 4am after thanksgiving to get their Sansui flat-screen TV from Wal-mart. ;-)
