Lenovo's all-in-one ThinkCentre gets official, becomes A70z
Lenovo let the word about this one out a little early, but it's just now gotten fully official with its very first all-in-one ThinkCentre desktop, now formally known as the ThinkCentre A70z. Set to roll out by the end of November, this expectedly angular little number packs a 19-inch, 16:10 display up front, along with your choice of Celeron or Core 2 Duo processors, a max 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and a range of particularly business-minded features to keep things as stripped down as possible -- even the built-in WiFi is optional. Head on past the break for a complete video overview courtesy of Lenovo itself, and look for this one to start at just $499 when it lands later this month.

That is some industrial looking shit right there. I kinda like it.
huh..i was going to comment on how ugly it was...
It's ugly enough to be beatiful
Lenovo and Saruman share the same motto "The old world will burn in fires of industry."
You gotta respect lenovo for their ability to maintain the formal / functional yet appealing form factor.
Add capacitive multitouch and I'd take this over those glossy plastic all-in-ones any day.
Meh.
Hot. I have an a600 and love it. Lenovo ftw.
I was waiting for that guy to make me an offer I couldn't refuse.
19" ONLY? REALLY?
Thats a dealbreaker for many right there!
slow down Liz Lemon lol
thats not a small monitor yet by any means. if it was 15" or something strange like that then yes
but then again with companies like acer, HP, Sony, and of course apple upping the ante, lenovo better step up
19" is not small but the resolution is only 1440x900.. which is too low
Thats the resolution of my 4 year old 19" envision LCD monitor, I can't believe they're putting that on a new desktop, at 19" they should have 1080p
The guy said you can recover half of your desk space, but who keeps there computer chassis on top of their desk.
Anyway this looks like a good product at a reasonable price. I'm in.
Many people have IBM/Lenovo, Dell etc... 'slim' towers turned on their side with a flat panel on top.
same ideea that apple created :)))))))))), come on !!!!
I agree the iMac is nice but this is a much better all in one for business users who need a affordable machine that boots.
I always love the lenovo desktop backgrounds.. they remind me of a 90's action movie like the jackal or mission impossible
Why the hell are celeron processors still an option for desktop level machines?
Wow, I didn't know they still sold Celeron processors!
They are 'good enough' if you are running a Browser, Email Client and some kind of office software.
Looks like a fairly good desktop. Really does seem good for businesses.
I want one
dual boot with Arch or fedora and i would be happy
500 bucks for an all in one without a god awful atom processor makes me smile
I was surprised when I saw the price. Seems pretty good for its guts. Not bad at all Lenovo.
Not bad at all.
I've been looking for some monitors or all-in-ones with decent looking backsides for putting on top of a desk that customers sit on the other side of. There are plenty of pretty devices, but the side that the customer sees is always butt ugly.
This one is clean. It ain't pretty, but its clean. In for 4.
I am proud to be a Lenovo Fanman. (I am too old to be a fanboy). The last Apple I owned was an Apple ][+
I have had several Thinkpads and Ideapads, and they all take abuse and keep running. Sure they have poor speakers, but they have great keyboards!
Yeah Beijing! Even though you can't find good pastrami or seeded rye bread there, you can get a Lenovo and some stir friend shrimp.
for the "traditional tower" they should have showed a competing product. is it worth it to support your own product while putting down another?
He needs to visit the Sartorialist. He is trying too hard.
In my point of view, HP all in PCs one has better looking, however, the appearance seems to affect the prices
I don't own any apple products for various reasons, however I must say that Apple's all-in-one blows Lenovo's out of the water.
i have a question, is it windows 7 ?
