HP Create Amazing ad tilt-shifts our hearts

Update: Sadly, the filmmaker got in touch with us and requested that we pull the video until he can clear it with HP -- we'll let you know.

A look back on popular stories from today in a specific year.

Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
So to summarize:
-HP do an ad that fakes miniatures by copying a technique seen elsewhere before to underline their "creativity"
-They use a nice song that is not released and not available for purchase anywhere, nor do they offer a download
-They are taken by surprise by the fact such an ad could go viral and rush out to swing the copyright hammer on every youtube upload out there to make sure, uhm, nobody sees it
Create pathetic.
I love the work of Ben Thomas. I have one of his stills as the background on my laptop. Check out his stuff. Wish he'd update his wallpaper though. Once a month updates my a$$.

Man, I love tilt-shift.
I just wish I had the money to buy a Tilt-shift lens, it'd be worth more than my entire camera.
And your house.
Ok so I loved the video and want a copy. I never closed the tab that I watched the video in, its still stored in my cache or cookies or something (not that computer smart). Is there a way I could download it from my cache?
Yeah, it's still there somewhere, but 'where' depends on which browser you're using and which OS. OK, here goes...
Google "temporary internet files" + your browser + your OS. Once you know where the cache is, go to that location and sort the files by size, it'll be a large file compared to everything else in there, but the filename will be random. The file should have a .flv extension I think (if you have it set up to see file extensions). Copy it and paste it somewhere else to save it.
I'm pretty sure that will work. You'll need a player like VLC or GOM Player to play FLV files. I've pulled videos out of there like that, but unfortunately sometimes due to which player the video was originally displayed in the webpage with, the sound will be missing (a copy protection feature).
Also (and maybe I should have started out with this) there are "video downloader" programs available that will add a button to your browser that automatically does everything I listed above. But I don't know if you might have needed to install it before viewing the page. Try searching for "video downloader" or "youtube downloader."
Good luck.
sorry, I just got a chance to see the video (thanks to Adam's post below). it's quicktime, so obviously it won't be a .flv file (should be .mov). also, I don't think the video downloader apps will work with quicktime.
Not sure why they don't want us seeing this amazing ad... but mirror here:

German Telekom did this before.
