Xbox 360 Wireless N adapter is really real, out this week in US for $100
Microsoft's releasing a Wireless N Networking Adapter for the Xbox 360? Get out of town! ... Oh, wait, we've seen it. Constantly. For the last two months. Ah well, let's just all be happy to see it finally appear on US store shelves, putting an end to this sordid saga and supporting 802.11a/b/g/n for a copper Lincoln under $100. As Joystiq reports, the old 802.11b/g model is slowly being shown the curb, with the current stock being discounted at $80 while supplies last.
Update: Check it -- GameStop has it listed right now in stock. Huzzah!

Anyone know if this is running at 5Ghz and 2.4, or just 2.4?
No one is arguing that MS marketing doesn't work. We all know they are making money. No one is arguing the 360 isn't a good system. The point is, the 360 only appears to be cheaper. Having to pay $100 for a wireless adapter is crazy. Not to mention that insane amount of money they must make off of XBL Memberships.
It's not like the built-in PS3 wi-fi supports wireless N?
Null and void if you use that argument on here.
Just to let everyone know! I have my old xbox wireless adapter (the white one) and it is connected to my wireless N network! so dont waste your money before you buy the new one!
wow dude, talk about ignorant, of course it connects to your wireless N network! Too bad its only connected at wireless G speeds of 56, opposed to 300.
