T-Mobile's BlackBerry Bold 9700 now available for $200 on contract
Right on cue, T-Mobile's newest BlackBerry is now on sale for those who covet. Starting at $199.99 on an Even More plan (which entails a 2-year contract, just so you know), the Bold 9700 can be ordered up from the carrier's website or be snagged in-store if you prefer to roll that way. It's also available for $449.99 on an Even More Plus Plan if you're no fan of attached strings, but something tells us you may want to have a peek at our review before laying down that much cheddar in a moment of weakness.

Just like T-Mo's website, you're showing the wrong phone. :-(
Yep, it should at least be a Bold, not a Curve!
Really that is the right pic of the phone tmobiles pic is wrong but this image is the bold 9700
this is the right phone. T-mobile has the wrong phone.
LOL why is both Engadget and T-mobile showing the wrong phone?
They tried to pull a fast 1 on ya.
Engadget is a cut and paster. Thats what they do. Boy Genius noticed the error at least.
RIM/Blackberry better evolve quickly very soon....seems to be that technically speaking, they're lagging big time.
At this point, I would consider a BB after considering a Palm, DROID or iPhone.
And millions of people worldwide would disagree with you. Blackberry is a trusted/stable OS.
have you ever used a BB? Its the sherman tank of the mobile os world...those with issues are those who use beta updates...stick with a a manu supplied install and you wont have any issues
I replaced my iPhone G1 with a Blackberry Curve 8310 and recently went back to the iPhone 3GS. The blackberry was a solid phone. Sure it didn't have the flash of the iPhone but it did the stuff I wanted it to do and did it very well. Some stuff was lacking and the phone just didn't have a ton of processing power. I can see why people are loyal to the Blackberry brand though. If they did come out with something a little more advanced that was worth anything I would go back. I also got addicted to the BB Messenger. It was a great feature.
...and AT&T is coming in last in offering this phone as always.... grrrr.....
AT&T's Blackberry Bold 9700 releasing Nov 22nd!
AT&T is offering the phone today to Premier and Business customers as well. Just ordered mine for delivery by Wednesday!
I just got mine on tmo, everything is solid and works great. everything ported over fine from my old pearl. Mac desktop software did fine. But my only complaint, and it could turn out to be a big one, is the screen is really weak feeling. pressing buttons on the home row can warp the screen, as well as direct contact.
Something I never have experienced on my other blackberrys.
