Blobo squeezable game controller bounces through the FCC

Befuddled by the Blobo squeezable game controller developed by an upstart company out of Finland? The FCC probably was to, but that didn't stop 'em from putting it through their usual battery of tests, tearing it apart, and giving us a glimpse at the user manual and our first real up-close look at the device itself. Of course, it is just a rubber ball packed with Bluetooth and sensors -- but if you're curious, you can find more pics where this one came from at the link below. I mean with some tweaking...
it could prove to make an awesome basketball game that was pretty cool

just give it a chance. If anything, it's just a new innovative way to play video games. Controllers aren't everything

all this realistic simulation of physical/sports activity on gaming systems/pcs is a bit strange...where are they gonna draw the line?

even if they make the most realistic baseball game, for example, controlled by this ball, per se, would you want to play it;
or would you rather just go outside into sunshine and real grass fields, and throw a real ball?

don't get me wrong - i'm all for advancement, but the direction that all this Wii movement is taking us is pretty self-defeating.

So much positive comments, great! Naturally it would be much cooler if Blobo games would be about killing. Although it is targeted as family device.

Technically, Blobo "is just a rubber ball packed with Bluetooth and sensors" just like the article says. Why "just"? What other company has been able to make device like this, in size like this, with 6 axis of freedom sensors and uniform analog squeeze control, rechargeable li-poly battery and soft outer cover that can take almost any shock unharmed?

It may interest some of you that the guy who is behind this Blobo-innovation, also was the father of Myorigo device (the original iPhone):
