4iThumbs overlay adds a tactile keyboard to your iPhone... sorta (video)
The iPhone keyboard (or the lack thereof) has been a polarizing point for many, and while we've seen a workaround or two in our day, we've yet to see a solution to the lack of tactility as beautifully simple as this. 4iThumbs is a screen overlay that adds minuscule bumps on your iPhone display -- bumps that correspond to where the keys are when using the vertical keyboard. 'Course, these things are apt to bug you when using the horizontal keyboard (or no keyboard at all), but we're guessing the heavy texters in the crowd won't mind. Have a look at the videos below the break for a better idea of what you're about to get yourself into. Oh, and be sure to pick up a pair of Awethumbs while you're at it -- we hear these two go great together.
Update: A horizontal version is available, hooray!

ugh. ugly.
Who uses real keyboards anyways? The iPhone keyboard is more efficient than real keys by far.

No one who has an iPhone has no need for a real keyboard cus since it's an iPhone and it doesn't have a keyboard, real physical keyboards suck cus anything that Apple makes is perfect.

@ZeRoCo0L Well I have Android, and I despise Apple, but hey, ever since the iPhone, keyboards are now optional. I gladly except this.
those are the most unprofessional videos ever. it's like they wanted it that way. let's be super dumb.
..Dumb...video is super stupid and this invention suggest that you never use your landscape keyboard.
Here's one for the iPhone Fanboys.

Wow, you guys are pretty harsh. Well I don’t like to follow crowds and I welcome any change or enhancements. I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and It came in just a few days ago. They were nice enough to email me and let me know they are under a overwhelming demand for the product (which got me even more excited!). I finally received it in the mail, the packaging left a lot to be desired, and proceeded to place the 4iThumbs on my phone. Using it feels strange until I realized I was using it wrong. I didn’t look at the very important message in the package, which tells you to hit between the bumps, then it worked well. I even could type without looking which is what I use to do on my blackberry. I watched movies with it and it was no biggie. I would give it shot guys. I ordered three more for christmas presents.
