Engadget has been nominated for 'Blog of the Decade' -- and you vote for the winner!

Hey gang. Normally we're not very concerned with prizes or accolades; just getting to play with the latest and greatest gadgets is reward enough for us... though we're a little excited about this one. Adweek has just announced its "Best of the 2000s" awards, and Engadget is up for "Blog of the Decade"! We've got some pretty amazing -- and fierce -- competition over there, but you guys can help decide who takes the prize by voting for your favorite (us, right?). If you're not into the awards thing, that's okay too; we promise not to come to your house and force you to vote for us under threat of physical harm. That would be crazy. Just crazy enough to work.

Also I voted Craigslist for the website poll... basically I looked at all of the websites they had up and tried to figure which one had influenced my life for the better. Sure CrackBook and Googlester are everyday staples, but on Clist I've bought/sold apartments, electronics, you name it... met some awesome people along the way and saved loads of cash. 'Tis why they got my vote.

as well, thanks for this bastard of a redesign of my favorite blog- now im reading techcrunch all the time, against my own will. These small roman fonts on my 24" monitor is killing me. Oh, and a BIG thanks for the hideous changes to the content hacked rss feeds as well. if i wanted only parts of the article, i wouldnt even bother with rss...ahgrrrhgrhg

I used both Engadget and Gizmodo everyday in the past, but now I only use Engadget because I personally feel as though Gizmodo is extremely bias. Nonetheless, Engadget is better than Gizmodo without a doubt, but I can't speak on the other nominees because I don't use them. Long live Engadget!

As a gadget blog, Engadget is certainly on top of the pyramid. But I must admit Lifehacker has been much more useful to my life. Least you'll be losing my vote to a worthy contender and not Perez.
