@OverDriven The Hausfrauen (correct grammar?) probably wonder how their paper books get into that thing. I'm sure many of them never heard of the nook, but, somehow, "eBook" is such a consumer buzzword that it whipped them up into that freakin' frenzy. They wouldn't have noticed the thing was upside-down in Ellen's hands.
Basically, I'm saying that they'll flip out over things they never would've invested time in researching because it's expensive and shiny. Now that Oprah isn't even having her favorite things show this year (or so I've seen), they're all working their way into the next few weeks of Ellen tapings.
They're going to go crazy over anything she has because it's not $15 homemade presents, like the shit Oprah pulled on a completely unsuspecting audience last year. I was bummed at first; I like the crazy audiences because it's my signal that Christmastime is here. Such warm feelings... But that was actually pretty funny last year, to hear metered applause and not the amazing sounds of orgy.

Wow. I have never seen so many people get so excited over things they have no idea how to use. This noobery is almost embarrassing to watch.

@OverDriven
I loved the MiFi part. She said what it was but nobody started screaming until she lifted the box off the top. How fake.
@OverDriven Not almost. Deeply. WTF America?
@OverDriven +1 for the use of "noobery"
