Creepy robotic heads serenade your wallet from deep inside the uncanny valley
No, it's not the Boyz II Men reunion tour, these are three other singing robots manufactured into a performing trio. The animatronic heads from artist Nathaniel Mellor are part of a $75,000 art piece on sale at Art Basel Miami Beach 2009. The artificial faces are controlled by servos which in turn are controlled by a computer. The uncontrolled fear you'll feel when watching the video is, however, completely natural.

why, oh why, must they sing about freedom?! It doubles the creepiness
WTF 75k for that! I would rather have these guys http://www.youtube.com/user/RewindShowBob and the guy would build them for you for way less than 75k
And why is this any stranger than Disney's audio animatronics?
Wasn't very creepy to me. Only a little. Probably because whoever put it together doesn't appear to have done a very good job. The mouths don't really move that much, and were almost never in sync with the words. And the voices they used just sounded terrible, not scary.
FAIL.
Do you get tech support with that? Something wrong with having to fix or patch a piece of art you buy.
These heads have been in London's Tate Britain for a long time.................but still very creepy!
WHERE'S YOUR HEAD AT??
Drop it
Okay are you ready? I'm ready! Yeaaah!!!
sometime in the future all of humanity will suffer because of this clip, I promise you ...
I for one, welcome our new robot overlords, whenever they'll come..
That middle one is especially creepy with that wonky eye that keeps crossing.
So, these are man made face type robots... why do they have wall eye?
Another technological breakthrough to make Futurama's Head in Jars come true
