There's one thing (and one thing only) that we know about House, MD. He seriously loves nearly killing people before saving them. Well, that, and he loves chilling out with a PSP Go. What, you hadn't heard? Yeah, seems old Dr. Greg is pretty into gaming in his downtime -- you know, when he's not downing Vicodin or collecting clues. There's one more piece of evidence after the break.

how would you ever want House as your doctor? Sure he can diagnose, but he has absolutely no bedside manner. I am a medical student and if any doctor treated their patients as he does, they would quickly be run out of a job because of malpractice lawsuits.

My Cousin is a doctor, as his is girlfriend and they watch House and admit its not far from the truth. Once you've qualified you'll face a massive culture shock.
@NeonCoyote When my sister was a first year at med school they actually watched House as part of the lectures because it was a very very accurate portrayal of what goes on in a hospital; except for House's attitude of course lol
@NeonCoyote Seconded. I'd love to have House as my doc. Sure he'd hurt me, berate me, insult me, and rifle through my stuff. But he'd cure my fungal spleen cancer.

Obviously, Engadget IS turning into nothing more than a product-placement site where they point out paid 'sneaky' commercials instead of bringing us news. Who cares of Sprint or Sony is placing their products into TV or movies? The real news is about the products and services themselves.
I'm sad with Engadget now. :( Time to set my bookmark to read Gizmodo instead.

I'm pretty sure the Dell machines are all the desktops they have in the offices, and the Apple stuff tends to be laptops and cinema displays in the imaging rooms...
...yes I do pay attention to that, and the fact that everyone uses a Palm Pre on FlashForward...

The laptops they use are typically Macs but I did see another Dell Adamo a couple weeks ago.
yeah.. noticed it while watching.. along with the macbooks and macs and iphones in every episode. i bet it's just a coincidence that house was hiding his entire face behind a macbook, and all we could see on the entire screen was just the huge apple logo glowing (the episode with the porn actor). either that or apple is paying fox more and more.
@gargle There was an episode a few weeks back where a patients Dell Adamo was featured in every other scene, wonder how much Apple paid for that placement.

This is why I just watch infomercials.
I've seen him us a regular PSP in the past, they even showed him driving and playing an MX vs ATV game on it.
Of all the people I would've thought House would have been clever enough not to buy a Go. Gah!

@triptych See, I think part of the charm of my Screen Grabs posts is that I never actually get any of the details of the shows or movies right. You might say, in fact, that I intentionally misrepresent what's going on.

Hehe I remember the episode they had him playing Metroid Fusion on GBA, he's also played on DS and the older PSP as well if I'm not mistaken :P House is awesome but I still can't believe Hugh pulls off the character so well after being brought up on Black Adder and a bit of Fry and Laurie :P
That was pretty evident during the episode with the autistic boy who ate racoon feces from his sandbox causing worms that nearly killed him. As he left the hospital, the boy handed House his PSP, which House subsequently used. He likes gaming but, even more, soap operas!

That was one of the more powerful episodes of the entire series (Though, House's "Because without you, I'm all alone" line last episode was easily the most powerful moment). The boy making eye contact with House, giving his prized possession to him, and then House actually being... touched. One of the many moments in this series that makes me cry.
I liked him better on vicodin.
House started out with a Gameboy (or was it a DS) then got a PSP from an autistic kid he helped. I noticed the upgrade when I caught this episode.
Oh, and he's kicked the vicodin habit.
