AT&T's new iPhone app conveys your disappointment in real time

OK, so the bigwigs at AT&T and Verizon have learned to make nice (for the time being at least), but what's a hapless iPhone user to do about dropped calls and other network problems? The AT&T Mark The Spot app offers long-suffering (or even the intermittently bedeviled) customers the ability to ping their carrier in real time, with location-specific feedback, should one experience a coverage crisis. Wow, what a great application

This is a great start for AT&T. I hope it hits other phone. I am going to use the crap out of this, I have had problems with AT&T for years. I am definitely going to give them feed back.
LOL what a joke, instead of building more towers and extending their coverage they now have an app for customers to complain. How lovely..uh oh sorry I'm on my iphone and I see the bars dropping off right n
How can we send AT&T a message saying that their network is down when the network does not work?!?
EVERYWHERE IS A PROBLEM LOCATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just curious as to how they are supposed to notify AT&T of a dead spot within a dead spot?
Reminds me of someone trying to ping google with no internet connection. How the hell are they supposed to get through? Wish real hard?
I've been waiting for 15 minutes for the "Mark the Spot" app to load....I guess customer demand for this application is bringing down the app store servers :-)
I wonder if it would work if I downloaded the app here from Australia, and just went around random places saying there was no coverage! Hehe!
Ummm... I feel as though AT&T want to work on the locations with the most "problem location" vs. improving their network as a whole.
Wow, judging from all the comments, AT&T must be a really bad provider! WTF?! o_O
Fuck ATT.
It's that simple.
