Shuttle gears up for CES with 'we are not alien' campaign, ominous video
Shuttle isn't exactly a company known for aggressive marketing campaigns, but it looks to be changing its tune a bit in the lead up to CES, and it's not too hard to see who its target is. While the company's main website is still as bright and cheery as ever, the newly launched We Are Not AlienbWare.com is an entirely different tale, featuring an ominous teaser video that mixes Shuttle promos (and metaphors) in with footage from District 9. Of course, it is a teaser video, so it's light on any details, but Shuttle is apparently promising something fairly big for CES. Hit up the link below to check out the video for yourself, or if it's giving you fits, just hop on past the break and mash play.

Can't beat 'em... trash copy 'em.
The commercial was pretty terrible. Almost laughably so.
Oh great, an i7 shuttle box. Who could have seen that coming? I guess the tiny fans they usually use will be spinning even faster, making yet another small but noisy system. I still have an old athlon shuttle box, that thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner when it's running, so an i7? No thanks.
@cordis Shuttle's SX58H7 (which was briefly seen in the film clip) has been out for a long time. I don't think the impending news release is that Shuttle has an i7powered machine. That is old news (released June 10, 2009).
Shuttle's website talks about a new "J" series; which means a new form factor (vs the old H7 and P2 cases). They also have a press release about a new "all in one".
Maybe they will beat Apple to the market with (yet another) tablet....
Now that was a cheap commercial if I've ever seen one. Seriously? Remixing a District 9 trailer with their own static product shots is the best they can come up with?
who is shuttle?
why would you want to buy an alienware or shuttle pc when you could just build your own for half the price?
How about Shuttle put some of their marketing materials into a better quality product. Their stuff over the past few years have really sucked. High prices + poor designs + high failure rates = current stats of affairs.
This just makes me want to watch District 9 again!
They aren t even THAT small...
This must be the x-enemy that armor is for...
I mean X-threat. Sorry, I only just woke up.
i was all like lolwtf?
Where do I go if I AM alien?
@CA To hell?
that didn't look too bad
District-9 was an aweful movie to start, how can they possibly get away with footage from a real movie? That doesn't even make sence. Lawsuit anyone?
Shuttle: building small, annoyingly loud, annoyingly non-standard and hard to access computers since 1997...
why is there a small apple logo in the right bottom corner of the screen?
