@xFenixKnightx 5 minutes you say -- looks like the amount of time it took the engineers to design it. Compare this keyboard to the HTC TouchPro2's or the LG eXpO's...no comparison.
@(Unverified) Keyboard sucks.. I hate it on my droid... but luckily for me.. I have only had to use it activate the phone..... Software keyboard on the droid rocks.......
@ahuyevshi Well whatdaya know...a rational person who agrees with me :) Yes I like the software keyboard as well..However, if I had the option to get this or the Sholes Tablet, I'd rather get the tablet.
@(Unverified) No, it's not the worst keyboard ever. It's a big improvement over my Samsung SCH-i760 if nothing else, which would drop characters left and right if you typed more than 5wpm.
It's not great, but after some adjustment I'm pretty happy with it and still far prefer it over the soft keyboard for all but the shortest typing.
@ahuyevshi Yeah, I rock the touch keyboard as well. While the physical keyboard isn't the best it gets the job done when you need it but the software keyboard's word functionality makes typing with it surprisingly faster/easier.
I don't get people's gripe over this keyboard. When I played with it at BB, I thought I was somewhere between very usable and good. Better than the Pre keyboard, IMO.
I don't know if there is a difference between the keyboard on Droid and the Milestone (i highly doubt it) or that the average fingers of Americans are bigger than in Europe but all the reviews and user experiences I read on the Milestone praise the keyboard as although being flat providing excellent feedback and good typing experience. I'm expecting my milestone to be delivered tomorrow morning so I can test it out myself.
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
