I can't wait for this device to come out. Although, major revisions are required before I will actually consider purchasing it. Way too much D-pad action going on here, as stated from previous posters. Why not make circular buttons with d-pad :-( ? .
I've been waiting to play around with Android, but have been limited to the Emulator due to the fact there is no pay-as-you go Android phones (* yes, there are unlocked Android phones, but no android pay as you go from t-mobile*). Also, why did creative abandon the Zii Egg android interface, and replace it with Plaszma? They had a really cool concept going there, an android pmp.
Now only if they integrate a microphone port into this device, I could use skype. :)
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
