@glenskey
EARTHQUAKE! EAAAARTHQUAAAAAKE!!!!
@glenskey
AHAHA!
Now no one will question that people who drive Chevy Volt are GHEY!
Y'a I'll be beside the loser in the Volt in my 1972 Pontiac GTO (with the BIG block 4 barrel V8 that gets 1 MPG) skanking it up with those 3 chicks playing some rock N roll !
@glenskey
Yes, GM needs to die and take the UAW with it...
@glenskey
And when GM dies it needs to take the Hummer H2 and H3 with it. Too many socker moms driving around it those shite oversized cavaliers. TAKE THAT THING OFF THE ROAD!
@glenskey
OH wait CHINAS bought the Hummer... So GM cars are now china made... And you thought GM cars sucked... just wait.
@glenskey I only made it 55 seconds before I passed out.
@glenskey
yes, they all need to go kill themselves...
oh my god my ears are bleeding
@spikebrain
HUH? This one's a chart topper for sure
E for electricity
V for Chevy volt and me
anyone got a download link? HA how funny would it be if you heard someone blasting this in the car with the windows down?
@spikebrain
and your eyes for having watched the video
What do you expect when the top show in this country is dancing with the stars?
@(Unverified)
I seriously hope you're kidding.
@Alex Well you have to consider who's stupider: The people who watch Dancing With The Stars for entertainment purposes, or the people who watch Dancing With The Stars and take it wayyhayy too seriously?
@(Unverified)
The top show is American Idol....I feel shame for our country whenever I hear that.
"stupider"
Last time I remember seeing something this horrifying is...
Nah, I dont' remember.
@Outsider
The forced employee dancing at the Microsoft retail stores.
@Outsider god, that was embarrassing even to watch
ohh noo.
Shit man, at least they did better than those guys at the Microsoft Store...
*noʎ uɐɥʇ ɹǝʇʇǝq ǝɔuɐp ʎןqɐqoɹd ʎǝɥʇ* *cough*
???????
why? and where?
That is embarrassing.
I.. watched the whole thing.
Its the first time in my life that I've raged and laughed simultaneously.
I clicked the link 'cause I thought it said "Disgust", not "Discuss"...
...There is a special place in hell for the folks who make people do things like this in public.
dude, I don't give a DAMN about how much this dance blows, these girls are amazing.
@Processing
Still processing your thought, I see.. I think you meant to say, " i'd tap the chicks"
@Processing
If you're going to watch women dance in degrading ways, they might as well be naked.
@Processing Lol, you're like the only one in this article who actually cares about how hot the chicks are. Talk about a diamond in the rough.
Bet that guy in the middle was thinking "God, those years of practicing off the moves from Bring It On is finally paying off! Oh yeah, shit just got real ford,Ford! "
"And you honestly thought you'd see a decent return-on-investment from bailing these guys out."
No, I didn't.
@MarcusMaximus
amen to that. wow this was godawful. i hope people from chevy read this. "it's cleaner, even if you're in Albuquerque, Queens, or Pasadena"!?
WTF.
@MarcusMaximus
You forgot the part where the chief marketing officer needs to be shot on sight.
Look I'm not endorsing Darth Vader, but when someone fucked the goat on his watch, bodies hit the floor.... just saying...
Is this for real!? And how is this possible in 2009 to make a video with mono audio?
Wow, even YouTube rated this 1 1/4 stars, and they'll eat up anything.
The juxtaposition of the tongue-in-cheek cute song to the absolutely intensely serious dance was just excruciating.
I like how Chevy thinks the Volt is gonna save the company (if not the world). Plug-in Prius is coming in 2011 to. Sorry guys : (
OK. Completely off topic. WTF is the deal with Engadget never posting a link to an off-site resource. Every link is to just some other piece of Engadget content.
Is this some misplaced desire to maximize on site time? Cmon guys - you're holding back basic user functionality. If you post good articles we'll spend time on your site - just give up an occasional link to a company site, an article - whatever.
I have enough Google in my life as it is - help me not go there every time I want to find out more about something I'm reading.
@InsurgentGeek If you aren't able to see the "Source" and "Via" links clearly marked and spelled out below the body of the post, I'm sorry bro. Ain't much more we can do except make it flash green and yellow.
@DarrenMurph It has to do more with the fact that people want to click on links in the story to take them to the point in question. When you provide a link inline, like say Intel is underlined, you want it to take you to Intel and not an Intel tag link on the same site. For a point of reference, IGN does the same thing you do all the time. They don't provide links outside the page. If you click on a game company it always takes you to an IGN page about the company.
You guys have a habit, or a statute that says no links in the story point outside this site? The external links are ALWAYS the source or via links.
Another example is in this story: http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/14/seven-chevy-models-eligible-for-199-autonet-mobile-wifi-router/
When you link the price, people are expecting to be taken to a page in order to purchase said item, not to an Engadget post telling people where to get it for that price... or even worse, not telling them where but linking a rumor post instead.
I don't know how to explain it better than that, but let's just say I know where he's coming from.
So they adapted a Honda-Apple-Hippie-Yuppie attitude. I wonder how this will fare with the NASCAR rednecks...
Terrible. Take a lap.
I Guarantee you this video is not as bad as the recent "Turn the tub around" video for I Can't Believe Its Not Butter. I woke up in the middle of the night and my TiVo was recording one of its 30-minute promo captures and I saw it and I thought I was having a nightmare.
I'd link to a video but it might be considered a crime against humanity. Google it for yourself.
I wonders which CEO or VP's kids/grand kids just made bank for writing that song...
The audio is surprisingly one-sided.
This is why the American car industry failed. Bad taste in design, bad taste in music and dance.
But we bailed them out.
... so it's really us, the taxpayers fault.
Where are you getting the power to make electricity?
Not so green, now is it?
@Needsahaircut It's more efficient to use large amounts of fule to generate electricity than it is to move your car using the same amount of fule over a longer period. Still looking pretty green to me. Especially since I would spend less money keeping a Volt charged than I currently do filling up my tank 3 times a week.
@Triscuit : Not to mention the myriad ways to generate electricity.
