Once upon a time, a smattering of new HD channels in one major metropolitan area was a huge deal. Nowadays, it's almost expected that one area or another will experience some HD expansion each week. @Jeff Kibuule Comedy Central HD isn't that great. None of the really good shows are in HD (though of course The Daily Show and Colbert Report are going HD January 4.)

@Jeff Kibuule South Park alone makes comedy central worth it.... Good to see my cable company added it (College Station). They just need a few more channels and they will match my current directv hd lineup.

Then I will be switching back for ceton cablecard media center.

Man.. Charter has almost no HD channels...

no Syfy HD
no Travel Channel HD
no Comedy Central HD
no BBC America HD
no IFC HD
no News Channels HD

Bleh. We get like 15 HD channels for who knows how much a month. $15? $20?
