Keepin' it real fake, part CCXLVIII: Xderia X2 packs 2X the KIRF
Sony Ericsson's Xperia X2 may have been delayed until next month, but official delays have never held back the inevitable KIRF hordes, as exemplified by this intriguing "Xderia X2." Not content with simply approximating SE's stylish QWERTY slider, this one goes the extra mile with a KIRF edition of Windows Mobile, not to mention some impressive specs like a 12.1 megapixel camera, dual SIM card slots, and a built-in FM radio -- which may or may not match the phone's actual specs. No word on a price just yet, but we're guessing you'll be able to buy anywhere from four to fourteen of these for the price of an actual X2.

bow chicka wow wow nonetheless
@questionexclamation This thing is pretty... er I mean, dretty.
itl be pretty awesome when the knock offs finally become better then the actual phones for sale.
I am pretty sure that day will come soon
they will not be plagued by having to pay all the legal fees and so on, they can just make a good phone and sell it. Then end.
For a KIRF, it actually looks well made and solid. Although I doubt ti's really a 12.1 megapixel camera but, I would buy this! If not because I'm a cheapass who likes messing around with KIRFs and other such silly but awesome china-made devices.
I like it. The keyboard is really cool and the speakers locations are really good.
Why don't more mainstream phones have dual SIM card slots like KIRF phones do? They can come in really handy in some cases.
@r3loaded Maybe Telcos don't like it?
Why don't you guys recession antidote KIRFs?
12.1mp? R u kiddin'? If it says so...well... I had a kirf n95- great speakers btw. It said 5mp on the back panel-1.3 in fact. But if it really packs winmo SE should report about bancrupcy
I don't care about knockoff products.. I wanna knockoff women!
@Skate It Dont Spray It
Try a shemale!
@Bolo Well I guess the Chinese still cant get it exactly right..
I know most if not all of these knockoffs are of shit quality, but it really does show how jacked up the prices are on phones in the US, whether that be on or off contract.
I agree, why can't we have dual-SIM slots? It's not an unknown technology to implement, quite the contrary - it's been around for a long time, but never really all the popular on USDM phones. Who knows why.

@fatslug You don't have to stoop to the level of trolls. Just move along.
If it had android on it, it could be interesting.
@(Unverified) I know, right?
@AndroidRokz I even kinda like Android, but you are downright annoying with all that fanboyism.
@Johanu You're feeding the troll.
One of these days i'm going to end up getting a KIRF phone. just one of these days.....
I'd rather than spend $250 on this than $600something for the real deal. I can't rationalize a huge resolution and state-of-the-art connectivity for an OS that hasn't fundamentally changed since 2000. Not to downplay winmo...
Just the hardware.
it looks really cool, but the camera 12mp, more like 1,3mp
almost er a looks better than the original
It will always looks very similar to the real deal.But the software inside is crap. They can replicate the body as the Xperia X2. But the OS cannot be done. I bet that 12.1 MP camera spec is just a lie. And the dual sim function must be real, because all these copy phones seems to have dual sim function and probably TV receiving too.
Why does every "kirf" phone have dual sims?
they should have gone with Xqeria 2X
Is it just me or are there two call buttons..?
@Sirius Lock
haha, i didn't even notice that. i guess it's for when one of them breaks :-)
@polird It is because that KIRF is a dual sim, so you already know from which number you are calling someone
I'm shocked no one's mentioned the N97.
