Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
When did The PSX become the "original gangster of consoles" I can think of a number of "original gangsters of consoles" that precede the Playstation...
@Greenlantern20x6
The PlayStation (abbreviated PS, PSone, PS1, or incorrectly, the PSX)

@AA Alex
Why is the PSX abbreviation incorrect? As far as I know, PSX was an internal codename for the system when it was in development and it just kind of stuck when it came out. It was never an *official* abbreviation, but neither was PS1.
Many years after the PSX abbreviation was in common use to refer to the original Playstation, Sony released an actual product called PSX that was based on the PS2. Maybe that's what you're thinking of, but it was definitely used for the original system first.
@Chefgon
This is why calling a PS1 a PSX is incorrect.

The PSX already exists.

Or I could, you know, read the whole post.
*facepalm*
@Chefgon
According to the source used in the Wikipedia article, the US called the original PlayStation PSX for short while the rest of the world just used PlayStation.
