A New Year's gift to Engadget readers: 3 minutes of Woz
Steve Wozniak is a fascinating man. Super smart, funny, incredibly perceptive... and just a tiny bit crazy. Please enjoy three minutes (and 15 seconds) of pure Woz after the break. It's our gift to you.
Update: For those wondering about the GPS setup Woz talks about in the interview, he's posted up a short video of his rig in comments! We're including a shot after the break.

Steve should have a cab driver (familiar with the route that Steve is going to take) in his car the next time he has that 6 GPS set up. Man versus machines! Woohoo!
When he visited Norway he made a 2-par interview with "Ping".
For more Woz check it out : http://ping.is/
We do speak norwegian in Norway but the interview is of course in english =)
Should be "2-part interview" not "2-par interview" ( I don´t even know what that means...).
Engadget and the Woz are awesome! Can't wait to see what the next decade will bring us for gadgets. Where do you get those prism glasses?
@stevewoz Like many, many others on this site, I would like to thank you for your contributions, past, present, and future, to the tech world. You have inspired so many, including myself. I always find your interviews fascinating and look forward to the full video from this one.
@SteveWoz - Couldnt agree more with @geekdom. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your book (wish I'd bought a signed copy). You are an inspiration. Puzzled why you'd have 6 concurrent sat navs though?
The fine line between insanity and genius can be clearly seen here, and the latter is well in effect !
You are genius !!!
I agree, I would love to see a colum by Steve. I would even be willing to pay for it.
Woz is a Geek GOD!!
Engadget, please make videos playable through your iPhone app.
@stevewoz
Greetings from the warm caribbean island of Puerto Rico,
I really respect and admire you career as it has been a great inspiration for me and a lot of gadget loving persons. me and couple of my Friends at the univ of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez Campus would love to meet you.so if someday you visit the island, hit us up!
the funny thing is that Woz can multitask better than most desktops, let alone smartphones and the like
3 minutes is NOT ENOUGH. MOAR Damn It!
Woz is using Navigon! Man I did tried 2 to 3 GPS at a time. But Woz is reaching the extreme!
Woz adds an element of friendliness to Apple that I really like. He is the only reason I even barely like Apple. His enthusiasm and no-b/s approach is what makes me want to try certain Apple products.
Woz your a great guy. Thanks for being a part of the community here. Now give us a 3 min sneak peak of the new tablet!
He looks like Dr. Zaius. I imagine he plans to round up all the humans and experiment on them.
@stevewoz
I was a android phone while on my trip to the US this Xmas. and I can tell that the google functions are much better when in the US then while here in brazil.
When i use the speech search function in the US I was amazed at how well it knew what I wanted. And to search for like Bestbuy raleigh north carolina. and it gave me options and then gps map trough google maps. This works on 5% of the searrches i try here in in Brazil. And maybe only 5% I try in the US did not come up.
This is why sometimes gadgets are very limited to their full potential in countries that actualy buy allot of gadgets.
I see also here in brazil allot of people have the iPhone. But almost no one installs apps on it. Neither Jailbreaks, Only if to unlock it from provider. Brazil is one of the counties that has more imported iPhones in the WORLD.
How come companies like google dont invest in getting Brazil into the game and get all these nice google features and apps more tamed for the market down here?
BTW thanks for all you done for the world.. Apple rocks!! just wish my iPhone had dual boot with android hahah
Are Woz's iPhones jailbroken??
If not, then that would be soooo OUT of character.
It was great to see this video. I remember e-mailing with Steve in the old days of the "ogrady's powerlist" e-mail list about Apple portables and PowerBooks, and it was a real treat to interact with him. Despite all his success and fame, Steve is a down to earth, honest guy, with a heart of gold. I think the coolest thing is that, mixed in with his fun nerdy outlook on life are little gems of insight/vision that really explain how he made his impact on society. I look forward to seeing the full video.
I love the WozMan!!!!!
@MikeWard1701
He needs a cell phone for each wife hehe.
