Enough of these posts about companies like iBUYPOWER and Cyberpower. Their computers are utter fucking garbage, go look up their rating at the BBB site, they're god-awful. They consistently have the worst customer service, and the cheapest parts used in their products. Not to mention they ship with improperly packaged boxes, with next to no support given to the cases and the sensitive electronics inside. If you want to order from one of these gaming companies, go look up Digital Storm or Falcon Northwest. At least when you order from when your computer arrive won't arrive in the mail with an improperly installed HDD, or a graphics card snaped in half.

umm while their CS is awful. don't you ( the buyer) pick your own parts? Thus if you get shitty parts it's your own fault?

I've never bought from them, for the reasons I listed above, but you can't pick what brand of PSU you get, or what specific brand of graphics cards you get (just because you pick an ATi card, doesn't mean they're all made the same. Sapphire, Asus, HIS, and all the other brands are not made equal), not to mention they usually just give you the cheapest POS Foxconn motherboard that they have. And Kingston SSDs? Those are some of the worst out there. The only reputable brands are Intel and OCZ, but of course those cost too much for CyberPower and thus they'd never use them.

A bit off topic here, but as long as we're complaining about horrible CS, OCZ really is the worst i have ever dealt with. I work at an E-tailer and every single experience we have had with them has been horrendous, from constantly shifting lead times to not one single product we have got from them works correctly.
Intel And Supertalent are really the only 2 options.

Anandtech has pretty much written the book on SSDs, and if you need to consult any guide on which brand to pick, this is your site. OCZ's new Vertex 2 Pro, which although hasn't been released yet, is slated to be just as good, if not better in some regards (like it's overall life expectancy) than Intel's X25 series.
Just build a high performance computer if you want one. Buying this is an exercise in stupidity.
Building is very easy too, it's almost like playing with expensive legos that require a screwdriver.
Please excuse my ignorance, but why put 2 SSDs in a desktop? I thought the advantage of SSD was for highly mobile and abused products because they don't have moving parts... I must be wrong, because otherwise it would be stupid to put them in a desktop, right?

faster (in some respects), reliable, less prone to failure, read write times etc. no moving parts = huge bonus.
