Well a key factor has to be a unit that does 720 Progressive well. 1080p is still at only 30 seconds on these, and even then not at all perfected at that res. For viewing on Quicktime the Kodak Zi8 or the soon to be released (release date: march 30th Best Buy/Amazon) is much better then any consumer HD Camcorder. (including any by Flip) This Audiovox/RCA could not be to good any anything.
Buy a $8 tripod, leave in optical zoom mode, then 60fps and you be very impressed the new Kodak's! -Particularly in daylight-
