its you. :|
So was that a backhand at Apple?
And wait does this mean that no one in France currently sells the iPhone or even owns one?
@TheRogueFFAngel france does have iphone and atleast orange and bouygues telecom have it
lol @TheRogueFFAngel , you know we have electricity down here...
I live in France and i have an iPhone since 2007 and i think that France is the biggest market in Europe.
Only "Orange" (the biggest French provider ) could sell the iPhone for 2 years, thats what he is talking about :)
@tonycmoi
Lol I see....
But does that O2 company (see I do know some things...haha!) sell the iPhone there now as well?
@TheRogueFFAngel
i think O2 is for the UK, its owned by teliphonica (something like that)
@TheRogueFFAngel
SFR is owned by Vodafone. It's been one year now that the orange's monopoly for the iPhone exploitation has been ended: there is now the tree main French operators which are selling it.
We may finally be able to get the pre...
@Tchiort
I hope we get the Nexus One as well, seeing it's Vodafone/SFR.
@Slaarg
That would be nice for sure. I was sad not seeing the N900 neither the HD2 in the SFR's stocks, i had to purchase a 3GS instead... C'est la vie as we say.
I'm trying to figure out how the word "snap" should be defined at the end of the paragraph.
Yep they sell since march i guess.
SFR assigned Orange on court to be able to do that.
French justice decided that the Orange excluivity was not legal so now they can sell it. But they are really late in the market...
At last! I'm a SFR subscriber waiting for the Pre/Pixi to release in France, and I was starting to lose hope this day would ever happen. Btw, many thanks to Engadget for caring about us -- European readers -- even if we're a small part of your audience.

+1 Thanks to Endgadget for that fantastic CES' coverage and those posts not only concerning the US.
