Okay, so it isn't the
HP Slate, but this Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered, Android-running Mini is definitely a departure from
all the netbooks they've been putting out lately. At this point, this is just a concept and the white plastic chassis is far from pretty or final, and frankly it just looks like a last generation HP Mini. The 10-inch resistive touch display was responsive to finger taps from what we could see in our brief fondling. Oh and the Android OS we know and love was, you know, running. It all looks interesting, but for now we were way more impressed with
Lenovo's Skylight.
What about this amazing partnership Microsoft says they have with HP?
@NetNewsercom
I don't think anyone is worried these will ever sell in quantities comparable to Windows netbooks, even HP knows that.

I like Pegatron's better.
Can it play Crysis? Lol.
@Kira
Why you always gotta be hatin'??
Android powered Netbook is awesome
Android on a computer will be much better when it has a Recycle bin that I can drag programs into , to easily uninstall them vs going through the menus
@Hydra
I don't know of any computer that uninstalls programs by dragging them into a recycle bin...
@BigJayDogg3
I, sir see what you did there.
regards.
@BigJayDogg3
Wow a shot at Apple.... How original.
I won't be surprised if Android as OS will be more popular than Chromium... It allows simple use of your hard drive.
If it runs Android I want it.I don't care what version .I like being able to easily tweak my experience
@DannyDarko
Same here. If it runs Android i want it
Make it a convertible tablet/swivel screen design, with a pixelqi display ... and I'm in. Esp. with optional T-Mobile USA 3G. It'd be nice to have it in black, as well.
